Haha! I don't see the problem with female refs, however we do know women are weaker and less smart than men so the comment was ok.

Pfft, during the world cup we found out that half these boards don't even know the off side rule !
(Massive fail in the situation when the goalie was on the other side of the ball then he usually is)

Indeed, I for one assumed that for that 1-0 against Italy in the last Euro Ruud was offside as usual before we realized Pannucci was off the pitch, and had an argument with a know-it-all (German) friend about it quite recently

Re: it is football after all...
I do think Gray is a c**t and half the time I'm telling him to shut the fuck up but he's different to all the other boring commentators Sky have. Will be interesting to see who gets given his job now. I just think the whole La Liga crew should get the chance but then they can't do both and they're probably happy covering La Liga.

Collymore is actually one of the better pundits. I'd definitely be in favour.

Collymore is a turd. There's a reason he's on channel 5. Might as well give it to Merson.

Change!
They'll get someone shit in..Souness, or one of the CL boys. Keys should've been sacked too...they'd probably replace him with Ben Shepherd.

Game well and truly over.... and I hate saying that
Ironic that something to do with a Liverpool game got him sacked.
edit- no female presenters on SSN and apparently that lineswoman was meant to be working the United game tonight but is not.

He wasn't sacked a long time ago for being racist, xenophobe, incompetent, bigot...I don't think he got sacked for also being sexist. He pissed Murdock off for something else, and got backstabbed. I'll ask the NY-MIAMI connection.

Isn;t he suing one of Murdochs papers, the News of the world over the phone tapping thing, I can;t imagine that helped his case, they were probably itching to get rid.

Re: it is football after all...
Good point about Gray suing NOTW - there's probably a lot of Sky internal politics involved as well. From what I read both Gray and Keys are deeply unpopular both within Sky and also among the sports media community - that all the damning evidence came from inside Sky says it all really. They've probably been waiting for them to make a wrong move and as soon as they did so pounced on them. I knew Gray was doomed when I read that Kammy made a point of being nice about Sian Massey in Goals on Sunday.

Apparently there was another video leaked for a very short amount of time..in which Richard Keys is talking with Jamie Redknapp about an old girlfriend and says "did you smash it?".

So strange to see a man like that just casually go "did you smash it".
Looks like Jamie is the one replacing Andy. A man who talks shite, being replaced with a man who talks shite

Re: it is football after all...
Started with this -
then......................
Keys has issued an apology: "I’m sorry you’ve had to wait so long to hear from me. I’m on my way to London now to start apologising."
Keys (contd): "For the immediate I would just like to say how deeply sorry I am for the part I have played in causing this furore."
then......................
Richard Keys: 'There are some dark forces at work here'
Keys has a pop at Rio Ferdinand, Daily Mail/Sun, West Ham, Karren B....this is some apology.
Richard Keys considering resignation, he says on talksport
"They'll never take those 20 years off us."
omg. omg. SOMEONE FROM HIS PR TEAM GO IN AND JUST CHLOROFORM HIM.
So this is the point for half-time analysis, right?
