We're unbeaten in a few now. But then Utd are unbeaten all season. We totally outplayed them at home, but ended up drawing. But they tend to get outplayed quite often and end up winning. Heigh-ho. Reckon we can get something from the game. Bent and Agbonlahor both have pretty good knack of scoring vs top 4 teams from what I recall. In conclusion: another 2-2 says I Ale

Everton are unpredictable - that could be a banana-skin for Arsenal coming straight after a surprisingly difficult cup game vs Huddersfield.

But tricky ones for Chelsea, City and Spurs too - none of them easy places to go, 'specially midweek. These are the mythical winter midweek fixtures in miserable towns North of London that fancy-dan foreign players are supposedly unable to perform in.

Brom-Wigan and Blackpool-Ham could be key relegation games. The two away teams will start feeling very adrift if they lose, but Blackpool and WBA could both easily be sucked in to the battle..

One of the most inept refereeing performances I have ever seen in my life. This level is clearly too high for Mason - fucking clueless!

That shouldn't take our the fact we have been absolutely dire so far though.

The Mancs erm the league erm the ref allows Everton to score a goal ONE METER OFFSIDE! lol!

Walcott has miles of space to run after a ball, he gets clipped intentionally, and the Manc interprets as accidental collision. HAHAHAHAHA!

How many Mancs are disguised as refs FFS! lol!

Shite half. Conceding the v.v.early goal has made Utd very comfortable. They just let us have aimless possession and wait to hit on break. Was just about to say at least we've kept it at 1, when we concede the 2nd and lose the match in 1st half injury time Rolling Eyes

Highly typical that Rooney would start scoring again against us. Highly, highly typical.

2114: GOALFLASH Man Utd 2-1 Aston Villa (Bent)

BBC Sport's Paul Fletcher at The Valley: "High face at The Valley. Steven Gillespie puts the ball in the net. The referee blows, no goal. Colchester protest - after all, there was no offside flag. Goal given. Charlton protest, especially to the fourth official. The referee talks to the fourth official. Goal ruled out. Colchester's turn to go crazy. Drop-ball given. The referee's name? Darren Sheldrake."

    Sounds like absolute dynamite.
