Can't remember the last time we had such clear advantages in all the 1st legs of a round of knockout ties. The Clasico is 99% certain now, and in the other half, Schalke will probably get to try their luck against Man. Utd.

Chelsea can win at OT. Other ties look finished. But never say never of course.

Pretty much what Fey said. Chelsea are the only ones with a chance, but even then it is quite rare for a team to lose the first leg and then win the tie

Fair play. That made me laugh. Good lad.
As for these games - I'm still harbouring the belief we can win 5-0 at home

What do Heather Mills and and Tottenham Hotspur have in common?
- Spoiler:
- the second leg is just for show

Obviously not, because a 2-1 win or whatever would see the chavs through, which is more than conceivable (after all, that was the scoreline the last time they played there wasn't it). Clearly they'd need to start performing though.
The others are all (99%) settled. Nothing more to discuss really...

Considering this is our first, and possibly last CL campaign for awhile, you'll forgive if some of us will discuss and enjoy it to the very end.
I make no bones about the fact that there is still a lot to play for at WHL, not least a bit of pride and to celebrate the achievements of the club this season in Europe.
Should this rankle with the Gooner brigade - you can at least take heart from this small club mentality

Jesus, how much projection is there in there Bernd? Didn't mean to sound grumpy but I enjoyed Dick's contributions on the match thread just now rather more than I did watching the game last night. Clearly Tuesday night was awesome, but unfortunately it means next week is a bit of a damp squib.

Yeah it veered between "oh for fuck's sake, this is boring now" and moments of helpless lolage despite myself.
As a Werder "Sympathisant" (with the many "Wunder von der Weser" to overturn ridiculous deficits and the like), I know full well it's possible. And you only need a 4-0 to take it into extra time anyway. The suspense may have been taken out of next week, but no reason why the fun should be (despite United and Chelsea's bestefforts). I'll certainly try to be somewhere where I can keep an eye on both games next Weds...

Yeah the one-sided ones were actually pretty good, it was just the chavs-c**ts that was depressing. Although you have to say the second leg was relatively good, a massive improvement.

The best tie for the neutral was the Chelsea V Man United game.
Who'd have thunk it.
The rest - for whatever reasons, massively one sided and for that reason: non starters as contests

I guess so. Also the first that was basically decided after the first games. And also the first that totally bored my ass of.

Yes, only decent knock out match was Bayern-Inter. Cant remember the group games cause thats a load of tosh anyway, though the c**ts gettin dicked 0-4 was rather nice.
Anyway, it's time only the champs are allowed again, to avoid such bad matches as tonight. Real Madrid and especially Barcalona didnt do football a favour.
