    Terry backs Hiddink and Hughes

John Terry believes the Chelsea players would welcome Guus Hiddink or Mark Hughes as the club's new manager.

Some rumours Chelsea have agreed compensation with Porto for Villas-Boas. Maybe with Hiddink as DoF or something.

    Wikipedafile seems pretty certain:

Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas (born 17 October 1977) is a Portuguese football manager currently managing Chelsea F.C. in the Portuguese Premier Liga.

    I guess that's that then.

If Villas-Boas goes to manage Chelsea, he MUST get rid of the over-rated/backstabber IMMEDIATELY.

Mourinho got rid of Raúl and Guti. Villas-Boas MUST get rid of Terry and Lampard. I am sure Villas-Boas is smart enough to realize that.

Yeah, A. Cole is dead wood too. If I'm Terry or Lampard, I'd be contacting my agent to work the phones about possible teams that are interested in my backstabbing services.

If Villas-Boas is smart enough he'll know right away when he walks in the dressing room to face his new players, who were the ones who back stabbed Mourinho, his mentor.

He doesn't even have to be astute about it because surely Mourinho has already told him who the backstabbers are in that dressing room.

For so many reasons, Villas-Boas must go to Chelsea and get rid of Terry and Lampard, and probably Ashley Cole too, although I don't think Cole back stabbed Jose Mourinho.

Surely it's a matter of time to read the news that Terry and Lampard were 'transfered to other teams'.

What evidence is there his influence is detrimental, other than media speculation and the barbed musings of 2 bit Internet conspirators? Homegrown player, able captain, committed- I somehow doubt you or Puro's tactic would go down well with the fans or on the pitch. It's like someone going into Newcastle when Shearer was inhis prime and kicking h out because of his "influence". When he's over the hill and lagging on the pitch like Raul was in his late Madris days the fine. Before that is a laughable reaction to the Terry media witch hunt. We know he's a c**t, but he's an important player for Chelsea. Anyone with half a brain cell and not pushing an agenda can see this

I'm really serious. Lampard and Terry, and perhaps Ashley Cole too must be calling their agents immediately.

The only doubt I have about Villas-Boas is whether or not he waits to face his mentor's backstabbers, fucks with them psychologically, you know pre-season training making them believe they will play for him and what not, and then drops them like a sack of shite by saying "they're not in my plans".

Or will Villas-Boas tell Abramovich to get rid of them before he even arrives in England?

Surely Terry and Lampard are smart enough to realize that Villas-Boas was already told by his mentor, Mourinho, who were the backstabbing bitches who got him fired.

And, knowing the way Mourinho is, you know it's gonna be good. lol!

I see Shearer and Terry as different characters, Shearer is a pro that liked to keep a low profile and is someone you can work with, Terry is a rat from a family of rats that will try to stick his dick in you if you bend over long enough. If i was a manager going into Chelsea(or England) i would want to cut the heart out of the dressing room to show his numbskull followers who is boss, and to show them that change is afoot. It's a choice between selling him or beating him up infront of everyone, they're the only two options that would work.

Lampard i would sell for tactical reason.

    Ashley Cole i would keep.

Wasn't Veelash-Bowash one of Mourinho's assistants during his time at Chelsea - an 'opposition scout' in FM terms?

If so, he would know all about the existing players, their tactical limitations, their self-glorifying attitudes, and their ability to knife their manager in the back. He wouldn't need to still be talking to Mourinho to figure all this out.

I doubt Terry's going anywhere, but I can see them shipping Lampard off somewhere. I hear Liverpool are cash-happy and looking to buy anyone English, no matter how shit they are. Maybe the porn barons at WHam would be interested.

Only on this board can we even be discussing Ashley cole (chelsea s player of the year) as being a good player for Chelsea to get rid of.

Take what you say about Terry, but clubs dont care at the end of the day whether a player is a c**t or not in the eyes of the public.

Chelsea need to be rid of deadwood, not rip the heart out of the team. Deadwood= over the hill or not integral to team. So Lampard, Ferreira, Anelka, Kalou, Hilario, Bosingwa would go IMO, with Drogba given a year and Terry a couple before phasing out due to age.

Lampard's still got a couple more seasons at Chelsea in him, though they need to move beyond him being automatic starter. He shouldn't get all the blame for their midfield not being too impressive last season or two. Essien's declined, Mikel is limited, Ramires has promise but wasn't very good for much of last season.

The only thing that I do not like about Villas-Boas going to Chelsea is that next season Porto would've been a shoo in semifinalist in the Champions League along with Barcelona, Real Madrid and either Milan/Bayern/Chelsea/both Mancs.

Now with Villas-Boas leaving Porto, suddenly it's Chelsea that jumps to the front of the pack behind only the best teams in the world in club football. DANG!

first order of business is for him to sell Lampard and terry, can't play the type of football he does with Lampard in midfield and terry in defense can't play a high line with him.

    Do you actually watch football?

Also, I would have thought picking the Brazilian bought by an Italian would suit your anti-English agenda. Your leaving him out would appear to be an admission that he's just another overrated, overpriced foreigner, bought by another overrated, overpriced foreigner. Like all them foreigners.

On the basis of their performances last season (which may be a tad unfair as it was his first half-season in English football) David Luiz is more of a liability in defence than John Terry.
