Ooops. Valencia score. Mistake by Puyol to give the ball away, Valencia attack down the left, and there's some confusion in Barça's defense as Abidal scores an own goal.

Pep needs to make an adjustment here. Alves as a RW and Mascherano RB isn't working. The same Mathieu-Alba connection as last year is causing problems. Switch back to 4-3-3.

Since the 2nd goal there have been 2 nearly identical attacks down the left flank again for Valencia, with a ball square back across to incoming midfielders...first time I've seen a Pep team with such a glaringly obvious tactical flaw that's getting exposed again and again and again. I hope he's not planning to wait until halftime to change things.

Definitely don't see us winning this game. Valencia are playing a perfect match. Their counter attacks are so dangerous, only Mascherano is stopping them.
