    Saturday, 1 October 2011
    Everton v Liverpool
    Aston Villa v Wigan
    Blackburn v Man City
    Man Utd v Norwich
    Sunderland v West Brom
    Wolverhampton v Newcastle

    Sunday, 2 October 2011
    Bolton v Chelsea
    Fulham v QPR
    Swansea v Stoke
    Tottenham v Arsenal

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

2 really spicy derbies in this gameweek; Fulham vs QPR and Blackburn vs Man City. Both should be full of flavour so sink your teeth into them if you have the guts.

Carlos Tevez has disgraced himself this week by refusing to play football when asked to do so by his manager. Edin Dzeko too will sit this one out on the naughty step from which Balotelli's only just been given liscence to vacate. Still though, Blackburn are a really wank team that only Arsenal can find a way to lose to and the sheer unbelievablejeffness of Aguero should be enough to give the Poznan the 3 points they crave.

Everton take on Liverpool. Both teams don't like each other very much and are determined to win. Everton have given up playing strikers anymore and Moyes has revolutionized the 4-6-0, even Man United used it in the Champions league this week. Liverpool's away form over the last year has been nothing short of rubbish and a good start to the game is vital otherwise Charlie Adam will get sent off again and Carragher will give away a pen. Andrew Carroll is still starving for his first league goal of the season but might have to sit this one out due to not being very good.

The other really good game is Tottenham vs Arsenal. Famously, Arsene Wenger is a turd. Harry Redknapp is also a turd to some extent but Spurs run of good form mixed with Arsenal showing the defensive frailty of a stray rabbit means I can only see the home side winning this one and we all know Adebayor just loves to score past Arsenal more than he loves to do a silly African dance.

    Football cheers

Ref with a ridiculously harsh decision to send off Rodwell. Nothing more than a yellow, if even that.

Now a correct penalty decision (Jagielka has been pretty poor this season) but Howard makes a great save.

For all the money they've spent, Liverpool are still a pretty ordinary side in possession. Their buildup play is just so slow and unimaginative, and they lack pace of movement of the ball.

Pool will still rip them apart in the 2nd half. That ridiculous high tempo quick pressing game Everton played in the 1st 30 minutes will take it toll.

Pool have a long way to go be a proper top 4 team judging from that performance.

I know! Who'd have thought that a host of new signings thrown straight into the first team wouldn't gel immediately. It usually works.

Surreal game. I think Martin Atkinson will be buying a new jet ski in the morning.

Wow, look at you being smart. Carroll and Suarez have been there since January. Adam, Downing, Enrique are the 'new' signings in the starting 11 but they've started almost every game for you this season, already know the league, and it's not like Dalglish is some kind of Bielsa implementing a complicated tactical system. So it's hardly like there needs to be a steep learning curve.

    ----------------------------

Liverpool dominating the 2nd half so far, Everton leaving big gaps in midfield now, especially just in front of their defensive line.
