    Negatives:

    - poor goal to concede, got to stay with your runner from set pieces and was too easy for Hernandez.
    - Sloppy first half, slow build up and Lucas in particular giving the ball away.

    Positives:

    - Gerrard completing 90 minutes and showing good signs.
    - Quite solid defensively on the whole.
    - Henderson looked lively when coming on.
    - Created chances and could have won the game late on without having to bring on Bellamy or Carroll.
Getting a 1-1 draw with many of the good players against a big rival away proves they don't have depth anymore?

I think Ferguson will be quite happy with the result today and especially considering that in recent years Man Utd has lost games to Liverpool away with a better line up. Great result imo.

    City cheers

Without bringing their big guns on i.e. Rooney, Chorizo and Nanny, they would never have scored. City didn't play Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko or Silva today and are winning 4-1, they are clearly the more dangerous squad on the whole.

Obviously Man City's bench is very strong but this is a strange comparison though. City were home against Aston Villa whereas United were playing away against their biggest rival. Hardly a like for like case.
Besides United's strengh is that despite their lack of stars their squad works well. United had little problems in the first half when they were without their best players. If City goes away to United without Kun/Silva and get a similar result we can claim superiority from City.

Did you see our fixture list? Newcastle the only decent team we played and we were lucky to get a draw in that one. You may be able to rest your top players (and suffer the horror of having to field your £25m subs), but we lost our 2 best players in the summer and have a man who thinks Emile Heskey is Franz Beckenbauer managing us.

If we don't get relegated it will be solely down to other teams being shitter.

Almost two but for a staggeringly good save from Szczesny to block a header from four yards out. Arsenal are so frail at the back, it's just ridiculous.

edit: It would have been more typical for Arsenal to concede in hapless fashion when Szczesny came racing out to the touchline. As it was, you can't do much about a free-kick of such quality.

He's 18 I think. I rate him anyway, very similar in style to Dean Ashton when he was at Norwich and his 1st year at WHU. Regardless, if you have a player that young you either give them regular minutes (i.e. you lot and Downing) or if there's not a place for them at the current time you loan them out (again, you lot when you loaned out Jinky to Watford). No point in having them stagnate, especially when you've paid £12mil.

    Goons are ridiculously fragile here.
