We're not on City's level. That's quite obvious. They are scoring some sublime goals.

@Boro - come on, if I didn't try and hype our performance this board would have been dead yesterday. Food for though though innit - scoring against parked buses, taking 19 points from 21 since losing to the Mancs, not to be sniffed at.

Impressive stuff in deed. But then again, it's Spurs. A matter of time before it all comes crashing down.

Laughing Well people said the same when we got 4th / into the CL two seasons ago. We would have got 4th again last season if Man City hadn't turned up with their billions and a new squad of World Class players.

Arsenal have seemed to of turned there play around. 4th spot is going to be really interesting this year If Spurs can keep there goalie fit they should be better than they were in the past two seasons.

Wales is just a restless principality of England anyway. Taff away Frenchman, Taff away.

And if it wasn't for Man City's billions, they'd still be managed by Joe Royle

Your on good form at the moment mate and your defo one of the best footballing sides in the league. You also seem to have tightened it up at the back a bit more this season...obviously taking exception to your first two games.

We have been playing well. I still think we can play better. We attack with pace and defend with pace...due to our athleticism....which leads to getting caught on the break...this is what I think might happen if we play a good counter attacking team. Against Arsenal, City for example this what happened. With a little composure at the back...King playing more games it will hopefully improve.

However Vdv and modric have been supreme. Parker is good at anticipating when to close down and his distribution has been impressive. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Long way to go. We can fuck things up if we are too complacent. Seen it all before. We should play it a game at a time. Been a good start tho

Was Eriksson not appointed by Shinawatra? scratch

I know the £100m+ of embezzled blood-money that he invested in the club is small change compared to your current owners, but it set this ball rolling, and is still a sizeable sum compared to what most clubs who actually care about their budgets is able to invest. £60m+ losses on transfers in a transfer window hardly suggests you were poor at the time.

    No Tiote today. Sad

Tim Krul, Danny Simpson, Steven Taylor, Fabricio Coloccini (c), Ryan Taylor; Gabriel Obertan, Danny Guthrie, Yohan Cabaye, Jonas Gutierrez; Leon Best, Demba Ba.

Substitutes: Rob Elliot, Davide Santon, James Perch, Sylvain Marveaux, Dan Gosling, Hatem Ben Arfa, Sammy Ameobi.

I have a prediction, Obertan will be shit.

Incase anyone is wondering where Ranger has disappeared to, he is getting arrested every week, the guy is done here. The club wanted rid of him in the summer because of his behaviour and instead of sorting himself out he seems to have gotten worse. Black people. Doh

@Sgoater, I was just fucking around with the Joe Royle comment. However- on the subject if money, yes we've spent money, but were one of the most financially sound clubs in the league and spending has been within a workable business model where we've posted revenues to balance that spend. It's taken years of austerity and slow development of our team. We went from midtable shite then to 5th for a couple of years and then 4th on a wage capped model and posting turnover above spend. What City have done is gone from 2nd division to Premier league champs in waiting in a handful of years. That would not happen applying the normal business model that everyone else has had to adhere to. It cannot be compared.

Meanwhile- I told you Kimbo. I can see Newcastle getting somerhing from this. City are the best team in the division but it's fair to say Newcastle so far have been the team of the season. Especially if they win tonight on a cold night in Stoke
