Nuri Sahin is determined to prove his worth at Real Madrid, and has made it clear that leaving the Santiago Bernabeu side after just one season is not an option for him.
The Turkey international joined Jose Mourinho's side in the summer of 2011, but a string of injuries prevented him from making an impact at Madrid and was only utilised as a squad player.
The 23-year-old has been linked with clubs such as Bayern Munich, Inter and Galatasaray in recent weeks, but Sahin is adamant that he is not going anyhere.
"I want to stay at the biggest club in the world. I have the desire to succeed here and want to prove my worth at Madrid. I'm living the dream at this club," Sahin said at a press conference.

I'm not. I don't think Torres is bad and he looks like he is getting back into shape. If we got him rather cheap I wouldn't mind but he certainly wouldn't be my first choice. I mean a Torres on form means:Jaime wrote:Is anyone else worried that if we sell Higuain, Florentino will be deluded enough to try and sign Fernando Torres?

Madrid set to swoop for Modric as Tottenham miss out on Champions League
Real Madrid will take advantage of Tottenham missing out on the Champions League by bidding for Luka Modric.
The Spanish champions are reportedly preparing an offer of £25million for the Croatian star.
Spurs rejected a bid of £40m from Chelsea for Modric last summer but face another fight to keep hold of him this year.
The London side were denied a place in next season's Champions League when Chelsea beat Bayern Munich on Saturday to lift the trophy.
As Roberto Di Matteo's side failed to finish in the top four, the final place in Europe's premier competition goes to the champions.
Exit: Kaka has been linked with a move to France with PSG
Although Tottenham value Modric at over £30m, Madrid are prepared to offer Lassana Diarra in part-exchange, according to the Sun
Modric will decide his future after Euro 2012.

No offence, but are you the Mexican Puro?

Outside he is great although slightly too unselfish, perhaps a case could be made that balances out Ronaldo/Di Maria in this regard. Otherwise I'm quite fine with how clinical our strikers are.
With regards to Alonso-Modric-Ozil.
How are we going to bully teams?
TRWP is correct that Modric's hight shouldn't deceive and in reality he has shown that he can play that central midfield position. In a way he is like Alonso who too learned in England to combine their passing with defensive skills. Nonetheless we need an engine in there like Manuel Fernandes,Vidal,Javi Martinez who can do it all. Having Modric in there would automatically change our style away from Mourinhoism over to something more generally Spanish.
If Mourinho does this he is going too far to please the fans and Perez. Enough is enough. At times we have played with two strikers plus Ronaldo-Ozil on the wings and Alonso-Granero. He should stand his ground here and go for Javi Martinez.
And Torres has shown for Liverpool that at his best he is a great striker. He was delivering in the big games in England and Cl for Liverpool. The only thing Torres has to prove is that he can get back to his old self.

He isnt 34 FFS, lack of confidence has been his undoing at Chelsea borne from playing in a team whose style of football has been very different to when he was at Liverpool.
However, isnt he an Atletico boy through and through? Surely he couldnt join Real Madrid could he??

He wasn't having a great year when he left Liverpool either. I'm not sure he'll ever be the same; Owen and Raul are good examples of players who began very young and thus declined early as well.
That is not true. The couple of months just before he left Liverpool he recovered quite a bit from what I remember after an otherwise horrible year. He was looking like the old Torres but then he went to Chelsea and went back to being horrible. There is hope with him.King Pipita wrote:Disco Benny wrote:Nah, Torres isnt finished, he just joined the wrong club.
