You'll get someone pretty average IMO like Sven.

FFS, do you really want that question answered? Wigan get average crowds of 18000 & have little prospect of ever being anything more than they are now. Staying in the league is their raison d'etre. While Villa have had an awful season, we can at least realistically aim for top 8/European qualification & to challenge in domestic cups.
Villa job should be pretty attractive right now - the worst cutting has been done and most of MON's overpaid squad fillers have left, so there will be some money to make the team their own. Expectations have been dragged as low as possible & the fanbase will welcome whoever comes with open arms. It's a job that is crying out for a young manager who wants to build something long-term.

He's been hanging around in England waiting for a job,
clearly he won't take everything and expect a decent sized club,
but he's likely to be aware that he'll have to take a step down from Liverpool as well.
Whatever the VIlla board do though,
the most important matter this time around,
is that they appoint someone the fan base support.
