I also noticed you couldn't vote on cronaldo. I would guess that the cronaldo voting was abused, and in removing him they made some error and removed the 2 keepers by accident

If busquets did do something specific last night I am sure that someone would be able to point out exactly what it was and when, and ideally provide a youtube clip, otherwise there is just busquets fans saying he had a few nice touches.

I agree that Silva for example had a bad game. It seems that busquets had a normal game, so it looks like in a normal game he does very little (or according to marca in an exceptional game for him he does very little).

Pirlo waltzing past him to set up Di Natale was fun Ale

Forget playmaking, I think that Busquets might actually not be very good at defending. Apart from letting Pirlo run past him, he let lampard set up the 2 goals in the CL.

It seems to me that Busquest is "nevilling" it. By this I mean that Gary Neville was a quite reliable but average player who fit well with Becks and therefore made a whole career for club and country, based on playing well with another player. Busquets is not particularly special at anything but fits well with xavi. If he was playing at a club other than barcelona he'd be a nobody Razz .

10% is like one of those DPL fanboys who only rate players who score screamers from 25 yards out and so a epic slide tackle. That's as far as his understanding of the game goes so just ignore him.

    Gary Busquests

For a DM, his game reading is the best in the world. He makes clever interceptions (without having to lunge in with heavy tackles or busting a gut), just by near perfect anticipation of opposition movement. His quick ball recovery and one-touch layoff to the man in space keeps the attack in motion in short succession. Always making himself available for the pass, and thus helping in ball retention. He lays the foundation for the tempo and the direction of attack, via simple and smart ball distribution. The thing with Busquets is, he is quite unorthodox for a DM, in that his game is subtle and effortless. Also why many(english people) fail to recognize his role and importance for spain and barca.
