De Jong kicking Alonso in the chest still gets mentioned, yet the same thing happens today and it's not worth a tiny mention. Fucking arse biscuits. Grr

it's double standards but nothing new and probably understandable if unreasonable.

If a tough guy kicks a flair player it's a crime, if a tough guy gets kicked it's par for the course. A bit like black on black gun violence, it's still wrong but somehow more acceptable.

Fair point about black on black crime. It's just irritating, they didn't show the penalty shout about 2 minutes after the sending off either, one of their players controlled the ball with his arm. Neutral

Also the idea that Tiote's foul(I do think it was a foul btw) was particularly dangerous and malicious, and a potential leg breaker. He kicked Fletcher on the shin pad with the side of his foot, there was no real weight behind it, it would never have broken anyones leg. Pundits keep using cliches like "showing his studs" and "over the ball" which don't describe it at all.

Newcastle fans also sang "Jimmy Savile, he's [Lee] Cattermole's dad."

    lol!

Not sure why they singled out Cattermole, but made me laugh all the same

I suppose if you're going to single out someone, it might as well be Cattermole. I don't really understand the chant...but it is funny anyway.

Because Lee Cattermole is an absolute bell, 'orrible c**t. tongue

I've no real problem with the chants, Taylor provoked them in the media and was already hated, he won't expect them to be nice to him.

I found Artie Ziff's comment amusing

"He is entitled to his opinion. I am delighted he made their bench."

If only he was so clever when it came to tactics, because they are fucking horrific. This is the man that was supposed to started a period of Sunderland dominance in the derbies. clown

Tiote is just a horrible footballer! A relic from the last decade!

Anyway, Im wondering why no EPL side signed Wilfried Bony, I believe Villa was interested in him. But that's it. He is better then Benteke, though considering he is Ivorian you will miss him a few matches every two years thanks to the Africa cup. But if anyone looks for a new Drogba it's him.

He does get carried away with his "destroyer mode" and can be a liability, and has been so far this season, but he has proven he is a capable footballer. People talk about the likes of Joe Allen and how they retain possession with 90% passing stats etc, Tiote has proven he can do it aswell, against good teams, whilst being a tough tackling DM. Hopefully he gets back to doing that, but right now I think we won't lose much by playing Perch in DM while he is suspended. Still wasn't a fucking red though.

scratch Why do you think you're in a position to be acting cocky? I've explained the Cisse situation half a dozen times anyway.
