Some DJ wasn't playing the music Stevie and his mates wanted, so Stevie and 2 of his friend went over and cornered the guy. One of them hit him, so Stevie and the other one piled in. Stevie got off on "self-defence", even though it was 3 on 1, and the 1 never threw a punch, let alone the first punch. The other 2 pleaded guilty, as they were clearly guilty. It was an embarrassment to the justice system and exposed Gerrard as a classless charver, the result would have been different if it had taken place outside of Liverpool. <Ale>

I don't it think it was even a DJ, just some guy in a pub later described as a "business man" (sounds dodgy somehow) who had control of the remote and wouldn't let them change the music. It is not wholly unexpected that a group of drunken men might get annoyed by it. Gerrard suffered temporary amnesia at the time as he asked the business man "Do you know who I am?" (this may or may not be true)

Well he wasn't fighting for the world title. tongue Anyone can get a license and be a professional if they prove a certain level of fitness. There's actually worse "professionals" out there than Flintoff.

With the jurors chanting this throughout, it really ought to have brought into question more the legitimacy and impartiality of his trial. Rolling Eyes

He's been signing of the season; really cool finisher. Reminds me of Morientes in his prime.

Him, RVP, Fellani and Suarez have been the best attackers if you like.

How many of Ba's have been tap ins or penalties? He's a good finisher but nothing more than that and after the whole Papiss is God thing, I'd be reluctant to jump on the Ba is the new Shearer bandwagon just now.

Yeah, Ba is looking like such a 3 season wonder at the moment. Flash in the pan. ok He's just a poacher aswell, a poacher that can play left wing. ok You're so knowledgeable Lewis. ok

btw that was his first penalty of the season against Wigan.

And you all have one man to thank for Michu:

It should also be noted that Laudrup is probably still a better footballer than Michu(or any of the others on that team)
