We must get back on track today but Fulham are one of those sides that can easily come and turn the style on.

Suso has to start, we need his creativity with the ball and he'll be nice and fresh. I'd give Sterling and Allen a rest.

Is Giroud injured?

You got Walcott playing down the middle and Podolski on the wide again? or visa versa.

Same as Reading I think with Walcott through the middle. It could be the right sort of game for him to play up front, as Wigan will probably leave us some space to counter into.

Far too easy for Kone to turn in behind the defence there, he left Mertesacker for dead, but then finished poorly. A let off for Arsenal.

Wigan probably been the better team so far but Arsenal will nick this.

Wigan are putting so much effort into this match. I can't imagine that they'll be able to keep this pressing up for the whole match. Wilshere looks like he is struggling after he got a heavy stamp on his ankle that the ref missed earlier on. Arsenal's front three have been too lightweight. With Wigan's pressing they aren't really getting into the game, or making themselves available for a pass, especially Walcott.

Why was Wilshere booked for that?! This half has been a bit strange. It's been open and both teams have looked to get forward, but aside from Kone's chance I can't really recall a good opportunity or effort on goal.

Arsenal penalty. Probably fair, but a little soft, it was mostly a tangle of legs. The defender was just caught out positionally on the wrong side of Walcott. Not sure why Podolski isn't higher up our penalty taking list but Arteta converts.

Arsenal really do look vulnerable on the counter, shame these players from such a depleted squad can't convert half chances.

Wigan have been very niggly and aggressive, quite Stoke like in approach. They didn't used to be like this.

Referee's ordered Di Santo off the pitch, no one knows why, and he won't let him back on. This is really baffling.

edit: Di Santo had an earring in and the referee ordered him off to remove that.

Bizzare that. Ref just sent Di Santo off to the sidelines for no apparent reason.

Wtf was that from the ref?

Urgh. This Arsenal team deserve a season out of the top 4, but as always they'll sneak in, in part thanks to games like this. In my opinion, very soft decision in a game they should not be leading.

Can't believe their game against West Ham is also postponed until January, everyone else has to play 3 games in 6 days, they now get a break in one of the most crucial stages of the season prior to the transfer window.

I'll say it again. Urgh.

Calm down darling, They're not guaranteed to be 3rd, only there at the moment because Chelsea and Spurs are still to play this weekend.
