How many goals is this for Rafa so far?

Not sure how many goals it is, but I do know that, assuming we go on to win this match, we are a further 7 points off the top of the table (with a game in hand) compared to this time last month and also lost the final of a competition that had been dominated by European teams for the last 5 years.

Europe was very much a disaster, but we were still very much in with a chance of winning the league, being just 3 points behind Man Utd (3 points they gained on us via 2 outrageous decisions in their win at the Bridge) and were 4 points behind Man City. We are now 11 points behind Man Utd and 7 behind Man City (with a game in hand on both).

And yes it's great to see us putting 5 past Leeds, 6 past Nordsjaelland, 3 past Villa etc. But the reality is that we've fallen further behind in the league and lost a competition which European teams have dominated with a very poor display. At least the Carling Cup is set up perfectly for him to claim some silverware.

It's also interesting to see Liverpool fans wishing Torres to score now that Rafa is in charge.

Chelsea fans are an embarrassment.

the exponential decline under RDM would have seen Chelsea out of it by January. That's why Rafa had to sack him.
