yeah but i think he can become real class in this league, i expect the breakthrough in 3-5 years

its a good league for attackers, not so for midfielders (at least not in the present), and he learned the technical basics in germany

Glad I'm going out and won't see the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th. no idea what we are meant to be doing with this formation. 3 centre backs up against 1 striker (who they can't even watch for the simplest of through-balls), and then getting completely overrun in midfield 'cause we have 2 up against 4 most of the time.

Bent a complete passenger because we never get the ball far enough up the pitch for him to be involved.

Utterly shit in every way. Club has clearly accepted relegation and I'll be surprised if we get 30 pts. Bottom place beckons. Pathetic.

Kick a man when he's down why don't you. McLeish was shit. We've been on relegation form for 12 months and 6 of them were McLeish. he sapped all hope from the club and now we are just drifting into pointless obscurity.

    I wouldn't rule out a 2nd half self-destruction like against Reading.

Sissoko looks great and Gouffran looks useful. Smiley

That was a really crucial result for us - we needed a win regardless, but weren't going to get a better opportunity to win away from home even though Villa battled in the second half, and I think it was also important to come away with something in order to maintain the increased sense of positivity that has built up owing to our new signings.

We played well and passed the ball patiently in the first half, and fell apart in the second - Villa came out ready to throw everything into their attack, and to play a little dirtily whenever they were without the ball, but we readily wilted and didn't recover our composure for the rest of the game. The two full-backs went missing for thirty minutes, Taylor began to lose out consistently to Benteke, and we were overrun in the midfield. If there was a logic to Pardew's substitutions, still Jonas struggled after receiving an unjust yellow card early in the second half and should have been taken off, and the order of the substitutions and our general lack of structure left us penned back and without a coherent formation.

Debuchy was a fool giving away the penalty, and Mbiwa only appeared briefly and in an unclear role; but I was really pleased with Sissoko and Gouffran's performances. Coloccini was excellent at the back, much to his credit; and Krul made a number of strong saves. Cisse took his chance really calmly too.

The reaction of QPR fans to Ryan Nelson has thrown me a bit...got a guard of honour coming on the pitch, standing ovation etc..I can get all that, he's there, he's leaving, practically retiring.

But it's all "a rock and a legend" "absoloute legend" "can't believe I'll never get to see Ryan Nelson play for us again" "had a tear in my eye for Nelson, he will be missed".

The guy played about 18 games and only joined them 6 months ago.

I hope this shuts up all those idiots who questioned Newcastle giving Pardiola an eight year contract.

He showed today why he had to be ~locked down~ to prevent the big clubs from getting him!

Terribly worried about tonights game, we rarely play well at the Emirates plus we were out-classed earlier in the season at home. Hopefully we can nick a goal and defend for the rest of the game.

I'm sure we've learnt from our mistakes last time of having our full backs too high up the pitch and being countered. Not to mention pissing around with these short passes so far into our own half. When it doubt, hoof it out.
