Puro, Wigan will get one of the Europa League spots from the FA Cup ('cause Man City will be in CL, the spot goes to runner-up if they win). This means 6th place doesn't qualify, bad news for Everton.

who knows. he's 22, tonnes of potential & contract a long way off, should get a good price.

I reckon clubs may wait and see if he can repeat next season, assuming we stay up. If we go down, he'll be gone for sure.

Spurs probably wouldn't pay more than 15-16 if we're interested.
Nothing to do with Benteke, that's pretty much our limit unless it's a very special player.
Think we'll be looking elsewhere, for a different type of striker.

Although you can bet we'll come in with a 9m bid if Villa are relegated, Levy know a deal when he see one.

doubt he'd go that cheap, even if relegated. Wolves managed to get 12m for Fletcher after going down and we're probably in stronger position, with others like Bent we'd be looking to sell first.

no particular beef that I know of, just that he doesn't fit the style he wants to play. Bent can't play the hard-working wide forward role Agbonlahor & Weimann play, so that means he's competing with Benteke for the central role & he's been undroppable. Bent's also had several little injuries keep him out at various points.

will be gone in the summer I imagine, though we're gonna be taking a big loss on him.

Dare I say it, you could do a lot worse than 'Arry.

Fair enough, he's not done it at QPR, but your squad in considerably more talented and wouldn't need major investment, just a good old arm around the shoulder scenario. Right up 'Arry's street.

And to be fair, his sides do tend to play gung ho, entertaining football. You might get smacked a few times, but there is also the chance under Harry of a 5-0 scenario like that game under Keegan against Man United. Except the 2013 version would probably be against Wigan.

We could do worse, if Ashley is going to go down the route of appointing a cockney that he has heard of then we won't do better than Redknapp. I'd rather we hired a coach that uses modern tactics like Laudrup or Pochettino though, rather than an English dinosaur. New age managing 0trick, i'd rather have a young hipster than an old roadie. <Ale>
