On paper I agree, Spain look the strongest. Too many players missing from the German team (or not being called up in first place). Don't know how strong the Dutch or Italians are this year. England look pretty decent, too.

Yeah it looks good. I would have taken Jese or Deulofeu over f*cking Tello personally. And I'm surprised there was no place for Ruben Pardo but hopefully the boys will have a good run.

Yeah, I mean he is definitely putting up good numbers with Valencia but even at Torres' worst in Chelsea he was still scoring for the national team. And Del Bosque has a lot of loyalty for Villa. And then with the false nine I dont think he was ever going to take three out and out centre forwards.

oh wow this midfield looks exciting NOT

but such a solid midfield is key for them, it helped them not conceding a single goal in the knockout stages

i wish LÖW would have the same thoughts Very Happy

Team for Spain: Sotres, Manquillo, Derik, Puerto, Bernat, Saúl, Campaña, Deulofeu, Óliver, Suso y Jesé.

    That's a tasty XI.

Jese and Deulofeu really have a great understanding between the two of them. Thankfully between Rosell and Pito Deulofeu will never make the full Barcelona team. Ale

Suso is really playing sort of a false nine with Gerard and Jese as the wide forwards but there is a lot of interchanging of positions going on. Deulofeu is popping up on the left, Suso out on the right and Jese down the middle at times.

i wouldn`t be too confident about jese and rodriguez

both could be perfect examples for players who will fail to reach the top level

serious, when was the last time spain produced a quality attacker? villa!!!

and a false 9, you need some kind of extra quality to make it in this position

youth attacking players are really hard to judge, there are plenty of players who never lived up the hype, while destroying every opponent in lower leagues
