You don't know Undiano do you? He's there in case shit happens and the Montenegrins experience an attack of consciousness. Undiano will take care of that with a red card here or there and a penalty for England in case of emergency. TFS!debaser wrote:

Most important midfielder...blutgraetsche wrote:http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/oct/11/tom-cleverley-england-world-cup-qualifiers-injury-montenegroTom Cleverley ruled out of England World Cup qualifiers with calf injury
• Midfielder to miss Montenegro and Poland games
• Suffered injury during training on Thursday
Does it matter? Probably not.
England play well with him in the team, as soon as lampard is bought back in, they play shit again.
With Wilshere being ill-disciplined
Lampard being shit
And Gerrard having terrible central midfield positioning and movement
Cleverly being ordinary and unspectacular but having really good positioning and moment gave balance to the midfield.

It's amazing the lack of hype games like this get these days. I remember the Greece game, the one where Beckham played horribly but scored a freekick, the build up was massive.Puro wrote:There's a lot of nerves everywhere in that stadium.Kimbo wrote:That military band fucked up the anthem royally.

Re: The Next England Squad
He was really rather excellent against Chelsea and Wham despite the latter scoreline. Clearly realized from all the criticism that his shoot on sight policy from the first few games was a mistake.shazlx wrote:I was worried he would be shooting on sight but impressed how smart he's been.Isco Benny wrote:Townsend playing well. Liking Baines playing at left back too. Outstanding player, rare to say about English players currently.

Re: The Next England Squad
The image Townsend has gotten as a bit trigger happy is a bit of a myth to be honest. He was a bit over-eager to impress in his 1st few games, but he has lots of variety to his game..shazlx wrote:I was worried he would be shooting on sight but impressed how smart he's been.Isco Benny wrote:Townsend playing well. Gerrard & Lampard... ugh. Especially Lampard's high hanging corners. Baines is on the pitch, let him take them... seriously WTF?!

Townshend, Baines, Welbeck and Gerrard all doing well. Defence doing well enough other than composure.

Will with Montenegro playiing so deep. I think Gerrards passing has been good and is circulating the possession well enough. Lampard however...Deluded F*ck wrote:The image Townsend has gotten as a bit trigger happy is a bit of a myth to be honest. Re: The Next England Squad
Are you purposely spelling Townsends name incorrectly?
Nice run by him and assist on his debut. And that's why he will also be ahead of Lennom in the Spurs pecking order when Aaron gets back. Far better final product. Really hope this is the season he realises his potential. Technically miles ahead of Walcott but Theo is a great finisher, so will be interesting.
