Flanagan or Smalling would do a better job than Johnson. Suarez is going to destroy him.

Am I forgetting someone or has the RB situation always been grim, other than the amazing Gary Neville ofcourse? I seem to remember Danny Mills and Luke Young getting a fair amount of games.  Erm

Ross Barkley for Rooney will be a common replacement hope he gets to start some games.

Kyle Walker was actually having a very good season for us this year before getting injured. Certainly good enough to have been in the squad. Like Johnson though, both seem to step down a level confidence wise when playing for England. Tis the curse of the white shirt.

Anyway, only English fans could moan about our team after we just thrashed Peuruo. Miserable c**ts.

Likely line-up for tonight (Milner as rightback, could do ok as long as he doesn't have to deal with height):

    Foster/Forster

    Milner - Jones - Smalling - Shaw

    Lampard (c) - Wilshere

    Chamberlain - Barkley - Rooney

    Lambert

Are people going to blame Lampard if "England's best midfielder" has a bad game (if he survives not getting injured of course)?

Reports I read said that Rooney is the only one likely to keep his place as he tries to build on his fitness, lampard to be captain, milner to be right-back.

Rickie with a chance to impress tonight - should anything happen to Wazza he needs to be England's saviour. Hodge isn't going to start Sterling at this WC is he? A bit baffling.

    At most 3.

Rooney, Wilshere and Shaw? Though Shaw is unlikely.

what's the point of playing the B-team when you need to train your A-team for the WC?

and what's the point of training penalties so soon?

In the link below, Gerrard says England are already training penalties with the help of a psychiatrist.  Shocked
