    Liverpool

    Grade: A-

In terms of our objective in finishing 4th we have far surpassed it and played some incredible football along the way. Not winning the title and being fairly poor in the cups means I'm not giving us the full A but I'm pretty happy.

    Player of the season: Suarez.

Scored a ridiculous amount of goals, assists, brilliance and far less selfish this season.

    Young player of the season

Flanagan came in and has done a fantastic job but has to be Sterling. Massive improvement from last season - this kid is going to be really special.

    Most improved player:

    Sterling by a country mile.

    Favourite match:

Beating United and Everton comfortably were very nice but it has to be that mauling of Arsenal - never seen such a ferocious start and such a shell shocked side.

    Best signing:

Hard one really, the summer signings were all pretty poor in the end. Mignolet is the only one who has shown good signs this season for large periods so I'll give it to him.

    Worst signing:

Moses. On loan but just no. Just no.

Main area of weakness in the team:

Defence. Simply not good enough to win a title.

Next season I'll be happy with...

Top 3 and a cup or win the title.

Champions League I'll be happy with quarters.

    Aston Villa

    Grade: D

Survived again, but still circling round the plughole of relegation. No real progress in performances, crap in the cups.

    Player of the season: Delph

In many matches this season he was the only player to come out with any credit. Needs better players around him.

    Young player of the season

Bacuna did quite well, filling in various positions and scored some important goals.

    Most improved player:

I guess Delph for continuing progression from last season. Albrighton showed a bit of return to form in 2nd half of season.

    Favourite match:

Probably when we beat City 3-2 early in season. seemed like things were going okay at that point.

    Best signing:

Bacuna the only one who established self in the team so there's not much competition. Kozak and Okore were both unlucky as they were the two biggest signings and missed most of season through major injuries.

    Worst signing:

Joint award to Tonev and Helenius, neither of whom made any impact.

Main area of weakness in the team:

Total lack of creativity. Total lack of consistency. Regular defensive mistakes. Poor ball retention.

Next season I'll be happy with...

All rather depends on how ownership situation changes things this summer. But some signs of developing a functional team & staying out of relegation battle would be a start.

    Grade: E

Didn't get relegated, stopped trying in the league in December, flopped out of both cups again, didn't buy any players

    Player of the season: Remy

    Relegated without him

    Young player of the season

We not only have a policy of not playing young players, we pretty much ostracize them

    Most improved player:

Debuchy, didn't have any redeeming qualities in his first 6 months here, but now looks a very good player. He'll do well for PSG.

    Favourite match:

3-0 vs Cardiff, not because of the score, because of the Pardew abuse

    Best signing:

    N/A

    Worst signing:

    N/A

Main area of weakness in the team:

We have trouble attacking and defending, but probably more upfront seeing as our only striker is shit, has a broken kneecap, and we want rid of him.

Next season I'll be happy with...

Europa league and a cup run, which won't happen without new coaches and some actual transfers

I know with Moyes we won't win title but I didn't expect it could be this bad

    Player of the season:
David de Gea, without any doubt. He saved us a lot this season from getting worse result

    Young player of the season:
Adnan Januzaj. Future Balon d'Or winner, IMO better than Ronaldo at the same age

    Most improved player:
Adnan Januzaj. From a youth player last season catapult himself into one of the 1st team star in only a matter of months

    Favourite match:
Man United 4-0 Norwich... It was our 1st game without Moyes incharge, the players look so excited and played as if there were no more shackles on their legs

    Best signing:
Juan Mata... Our only positive signing in terms of goals and assists

    Worst signing:
Marouane Fellaini... Was a panic buy, low in confidence, walking red card, obviously not an ideal CM/DM that we are looking for

Main area of weakness in the team:
    Moyes and no decent CM/DM

Next season I'll be happy with:
The Prem title or at least top four

    Liverpool

    Grade: A+

This is all relative to expectations. I expected 4th / 5th, instead we were a Gerrard slip away from winning the whole thing. Hard to ask for more than enjoying just about every game you watch in a season.

    Player of the season:

    Suarez

    Young player of the season

    Sterling - superstar

    Most improved player:

Jon Flanagan - weirdly now a very good player

    Favourite match:

Destroying Arsenal, although most matches have been fun this season

    Best signing:

Not a single one. Must do better this season.

    Worst signing:

Alberto - Why was he needed, what is he for ?
Aspas - Why was he needed, what is he for ?

    The winner

Mignolet - Good shot stopper, terrible at every other element of goalkeeping

Main area of weakness in the team:

Own goals / mistakes - no idea why these players gifted so many goals without the opposition having to do very much.

Next season I'll be happy with...

    More of the same

    Arsenal

    Grade: B-

With Utd, Chelsea and City in transition at the start of the season, we could look to maintaining the level from the second half of the previous season and even move forward with constructive reinforcement of the squad. Wenger, utterly predictably, failed again to do this (and I predict he will do so again this summer) and not surprisingly we are back more or less exactly where we were  in the past seasons insofar as the league position and CL record are concerned. Being on top of the table for 128 days is all very well but useless when you're not there at the end of the season. A(nother) season of lost opportunities, more galling than usual because the other top 4 contenders will surely be stronger next season.

    Player of the season:

    1. Aaron Ramsey. Oh yes I know we were a leetle bit unlucky with his injury (which Wenger, with his usual mindless optimism, initially predicted will only put him out for a few weeks  Rolling Eyes )

    2. Mertescielny

    3. Kossacker

    Young player of the season

    Who?

    Most improved player:

Lukasz Fabianski. And of course he's leaving now.  Rolling Eyes

    Favourite match:

The two North London derbies. We may get spanked by City, Chelsea, Liverpool and even Everton but we can still beat Spurs.

    Best signing:

Koscielny (signed a new deal this week).

    Worst signing:

Kallstrom. It's unfortunate because he's a decent player and it wasn't his fault we signed him despite knowing that he'd be crocked for the three-quarters of the time he is on loan to us. But what a shambles the whole thing was.

Main area of weakness in the team:

For once our defence looked decent (except in the aforementioned spankings) - though with Sagna all but gone, and Jenkinson patently not ready, we could well be regressing in this area next season. But lack of pace and innovation was all too evident while both Walcott and Ramsey were out. And Giroud needs a cover who isn't Sanogo or Podolski.

Next season I'll be happy with...

To be back where we are now. We may not get away with it though.

    Liverpool

    Grade: A

I would have been delighted had we gone into our last game with a chance of 4th. Going into our last game with a chance of the title was lovely.

    Player of the season: Henderson

Arguably the best player in the world. Finally getting the credit he deserves, zero to hero style.

    Young player of the season

Sterling. Kicked on in ways even someone as amazing as I couldn't have predicted.

    Most improved player:

Flanagan. Not as good as some would have you believe, but more than just a steady Eddy. He doesn't take unnecessary risks, but he doesn't hide either.

    Favourite match:

3-2 vs Man City. Happy day.

    Best signing:

I would like to cheat and say: keeping Suarez. Otherwise I think Toure was an important signing, although he didn't have the greatest 2nd half of the season.

    Worst signing:

Aspas. Too old to be considered a prospect, not an upgrade on Borini. Money should have been spent elsewhere.

Main area of weakness in the team:

    Defence.

Next season I'll be happy with...

    Watford

    Grade: F

Playoffs were the absolute minimum expected - paid heavy price for not signing Vydra or Chalobah and having the best player in the league from last season (abdi) injured for most of the season, as well as some shit signings.

Player of the season: Deeney or Angella - will be a miracle if they both stay.

I would have Angella in the top 5 CB's playing in the country let alone our division

    Young player of the season

    Battocchio

    Most improved player:

    Pudil

    Favourite match:

    6-1 v Bournemouth

    Best signing:

    Angella

    Worst signing:

    Faraoni

Main area of weakness in the team:

Don't win the ball back effectively and deservedly have the worst disciplinary record in the division as a result of desperate attempts to win the ball back rather than malice.

Next season I'll be happy with...

    Manchester United

Grade: No fucking idea how the anglo system is. But I would give it a 2/10 reason for not a 1 is that Moyes got sacked in 1 season, and hopefully showed the world that Scotish people in modern football wont work.

    Player of the season: Januzaj

Young player of the season: Januzaj

    Most improved player: Januzaj

Favourite match: Home game against Olympiakos, for 90 minutes everything was business as usual at the Theatre of D.

    Best signing: N/A

Worst signing: Fellaini, shitty Everton player that shouldnt have been signed in the first place.

Main area of weakness in the team: Defence is what people will say, but in reality it's our midfield. 0 goals and 0 assists...says it all.

Next season I'll be happy with:  Being a United fan, anything less then the title should be considered failure. But with this traumatic season in mind, top 4 will do I guess.

    Spurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs

    Grade: D

We sold Elvis and signed The Beatles said Erik Thorsvedt last summer. Shame he meant The Beatles before they'd even met each other and learnt to play their fucking instruments. The whole season has lurched to a conclusion like a deflated lead balloon.

Player of the season: Lloris or Eriksen. Both deserved better than the underperforming shower of shite around them.

Young player of the season: Kyle Naughton. As in Kyle Naughton will never win this award. Eriksen. By a mile.

    Most improved player:

Kyle Walker. in a season of disappointments, his performances were a refreshing glimmer of sunshine. Looked a rejuvenated players after a mediocre season last year, played with maturity so often missing previously. His injury later in the season meant we were left with Rose and Naughton as fullbacks. who have both been beyond pony.

    Favourite match:

    Ledley King's testimonial.

    Best signing:

Eriksen-sen-sen etc. He's better than Özil you know.

    Worst signing:

Lamela. Although don't believe it's terminal. However for 30million he's been a total waste so far.

Main area of weakness in the team:

Fullbacks are championship at best when walkers injured. Attacking midfield is light too.

Next season I'll be happy with...

Recapture our rightful place in the pecking order. 5th. Win the NLD at least once. Their fans/players have been unfuckingbearable this season.

Winning a nice shiny cup too would be nice. Even if it's just a preseason one.
