Yeah can still qualify but going to have to do it hard way, very unlikely to finish top 2 and gotta get a result away at Turkey in next match to stay favourites for 3rd spot.

yeah turkey fucked it up shame, something needs to happen in Dutch football. And I hope a few missed tournaments will change it, a 2nd and a 3rd place do more damage then it did good.

NI winning. England, NI, and Wales qualifying but Scotland not would be my dream scenario, imagine all the rustled Haggis with "45%" tattooed on them.

At least the Scottish National team is made up of 11 Scottish players and isn't full of Africans and Jamaicans.

You need to go and find yourself some native Jamaicans, they're famous for dominating football.

Well whenever I watch Scotland they have 11 White players. Same for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Now I know all these teams are shit but I would rather support a shit team that represents my heritage than a average/good mixed-race team. Besides it is possible to have all/very nearly all White teams play good football and win. Us (Spain 2010 - 2012) for example, and us (Russia) are a good team with some very good players. Croatia are good as well. As a white man these are teams I can be proud of and therefore I support them in national tournaments.

Arsenal fan John Cross from the mirror thinks that Jamie Vardy isn't England quality because he has pace but little ability...

The same article he refers to rooney as a great  lol!

I see the England tradition of picking out quick, versatile, hardworking but unfashionable players (Milner, Welbeck, Vardy) as being the root of all our problems, whilst the high-profile players who perform dreadfully (Terry, Gerrard, Lampard, Beckham, Rooney) get a free pass, is alive and well.

What a save by Akinfeev in the very last second!!! Very good performance today, with that win we have a chance of finishing second ahead of Sweden. Sweden have Austria next so they can easily drop more points. We have already played Austria twice.

Club career very disappointing to date but our best performer in these qualifiers and prob best player in the Hodgson era.

Scored twice as many goals from open play as the pikey in these qualifiers and same number as Bale.

Should bring him on at 0-0 rather than 0-2 tbh. Though why the new Ronaldo, Man U superstar, the man that only needs one name, can't do anything, is a much bigger issue. <Ale>

Seriously though this is shit, UEFA have tried to make sure EVERYONE qualifies for this tournament.

First Hiddink then Blind and back to ajax players all over again. Also its not that new, van Gaal did magic last year but it was lucky.

Its mental that they are still not knocked out.

To be fair though, Rooney is crap now and so is the opposition. Welbeck is a distinctly average player. The best he can hope for in his career is to be as good as Darius Vassell
