Point average that will take us to 76 points total.
    I'll take it for now.

The difference being We've had Southampton at home (a game we lost last season), City and Spurs away. We're currently 3 points better off in the corresponding fixtures from last season and we are only just starting to gel as a team. Lallana hasn't even kicked a ball for us yet.

Now after the "easy" game of hosting Aston Villa, Liverpool are a point behind Spurs.
Lallana has kicked a ball, and Liverpool has shown there aren't that much in their team when Sturridge and Sterling are out - the extreme speed Liverpool attack with that kills teams.
Two men who's fitness will determine whether Liverpool finish 3-4 or 6-7

Mou must be hopping mad at their last two games being 6-3 & 4-2, he would much rather have had two boring 1-0 wins.

I'm not sure that 'rotation' was Liverpool's downfall. Flanagan, Johnson, Skrtel, Allen, Can and Sturridge weren't rested, they were unavailable. While Sterling's performance from the bench did little to prove the manager was wrong for resting him.

Your defence must be bricking itself at the thought of Costa, Cesc and Hazard coming at it Ale

10 pts from 4 games and 2nd in the league. weird. very weird.

should actually fancy chances against Arsenal next week too, given that they'll have played in Dortmund midweek. another win would set us up nicely for a title-deciding clash with Chelsea the following week Wink

Happy with 1st clean sheet of the season, despite best attempts of Jagielka to screw things around our box.

Very nice goal by Lukaku to open scoring, but I really don't get this "no celebration" thing.

WBA is a serious relegation candidate, no surprise.

United switched back to 4-man defense, but it looks more of a flat 4-4-2 than diamond version we discussed it here. Mata starts on the right, but aften goes central using Rafael on overlap. Di Maria is closer to the left flank, as Rojo isn't going forward too much.

Have to correct myself - looking at how Mata, Rooney and Van Persie are pressing QPR defenders United seem to play diamond after all.

Di Maria scores for 1-0 after his cross from free kick goes over everybody head and lands in bottom far corner.

Agreed. Its going too far not celebrating against your old club...and footballers dont really mean it anyway. They are pro in everything, but not in that. Its weird.

Winning at home against QPR is proof the money wouldn't have been better spent on their defence.
