Another CM being linked with Valencia is Imbula from Marseille. Never seen him but Super Deporte reporting it would cost about 20m to get him.

*Cheryshev says his priority is to remain at Villarreal.

*Rodrigo Caio being linked with Atletico. I guess he is a DM. Another one I've never seen. Maybe to replace Mario Suarez?

*Deportivo being linked with Adrian Lopez who was previously at the club for a good while before moving to Atletico and then Porto last year. He hasn't gotten many opportunities with Lopetegui and Depor want to try and bring him on loan.

*Athletic have renewed Muniain and Laporte which is as good as signings for them. Still being linked with Monreal.

Yeesh, that's a lot, especially for them? Have they re-started building Nou Mestalla? If not, perhaps they should put some money towards that first.

We've been linked with him since before he signed for Sevilla. He is best buddies with Varane. We were linked with him before he moved to Monaco. Now again. I think he fits the profile of someone that Benitez would like. So we'll see. Probably if Benitez had his way we'd go for Kondogbia and if FloPer had his way it would be Pogba. Who knows, maybe we'll just give Illarra another chance.

So - how good they are? I've missed probably all Malaga matches this season, so any information would be appreciated. What position do they plan? Marcelino seems to be favouring 4-4-2, so can any of them play up front?

Also, Villarreal loaned young French GK Alphonse Areola. Apparently a huge talent and he is expected to replace Asenjo for the time he is out with torn ACL.

Vietto is expected to leave to Atletico any day now and Leo Baptistao will be loaned for one season with an option to buy.
