Would be surprised if we beat City even in their form. Get the impression from the noises coming out of the club that there is a split on whether to chase Europa or not. A crack at the top 4 without it as a distraction is appealing, so the remainder of the season is by the by.

Evertons form has massively improved since getting knocked out of the Europa. Expect them to be a force again next season for a top 4 challenge given they will definitely not make Europe this season.

Poor old Tim no one wanted to get in his corner and say a few experienced words in his ear at spurs. How we love to see people screw up and fall on there ass in the UK. Sure he was a pain it the neck. Curbing his passion and emotion so it could be used effectively at that time would of helped the both club and the new unexperienced Sherwood in position. It showed Tottenham are as screwed a club like Newcastle an organization that would rather let a team member even if its a manager flounder and fail. In truth these clubs need a stronger club unity policy if they want to be more successful. Tim good or bad behind closed doors reflects the weaknesses the top brass at these clubs carry.

Going half a season with no manager is looking clever. How hard can it be to run a football club when you have £34m in the bank? Hire a manager with good credentials, hire coaches with good credentials, but no, lets leave it to a couple of randoms from a council estate pub to run things. Meanwhile every other club has a team of actual coaches.

    Good man management John.

"The referee made the right decisions. I spoke to Mike Williamson at half-time and had a few choice words. I thought he'd done that [got sent off] on purpose - it looks like he did."

Freddy Shepherd is thick as pig shit, but atleast he wanted some glory. I really don't think running a football club with our resources should be as difficult as these people make out.

You cant deny that Shepard was way, way better for Newcastle then shitty Mike. Such a shitload of potential, yet it gets wasted every fuckin year.

Shepherd was easily better, he was corrupt(but not as much as Ashley) and the main criticism was that he was financially irresponsible, but getting the club relegated when it is so easily avoidable beats him in that department. We let January pass by with £34m in the bank and didn't bother to get a manager, it's mad.

Excellent performance, should've been a much more comfortable margin. better than Everton in all departments. only the ref's sheer one-sidedness kept Everton in it.
