    The Hammers Empty The Hammers

Post by waft the Thu Sep 28, 2006 9:27 pm

Out of Europe at the first hurdle, can't even say we went down fighting.

Pardew's an idiot. His team selections are really starting to get on my nerves. Playing Harewood out wide is ridiculous, Carlitos is wasted as well.

I know all was well last season, but we should have got rid of a few over the summer, there's no room for sentimentality in the big time. We should say thanks, good luck, and wave bye-bye to all our championpionship standard players.

Firstly, I don't care how many tap-ins from two yards he scores, Zamora is woeful, League 1 is where he belongs, yet Pards thinks he can start against a good teams like Palermo (first leg).

    C. Cole is just as bad, Harewood not much better. 3 of our stikers are just about good enough for the Championship.

Also he loves playing Harewood, awful dribbler, awful passer, worse crosser, on the right.

SuperTed and SuperTev up front, until we can get a decent centre-forward.

Deano you can't tell me you where happy when we signed Cole.

It's like we are being punished so far this season, we where all so happy on deadline day, and now look at us. What's happened to Reo-Coker?

    We desperately miss Ashton.

Harewood is poor, strong and fast, no ability.

Zamora is one of the worst (but luckiest) strikers in the league.

We need, a new CB, two new full backs, a more creative CM in Jan and then, with Ashton back from injury, we'll be alright

fucking hell man Harewood was on fire towards the end of last season he got you in fucking Europe in the place, the strikers is the one place i wouldn't moan about if i was a Hammer....

The arrival of the argies, the takeover, alan pardew not being certain in his job and Reo-Coker being fucked off that a) the argies have come b) that he wasn't told about deadline day offers from United and Arsenal

    poiuy;

Like I say Marlon and the rest did exceptionally last season, but everyone knows that he, Konchesky, Gabbidon and the rest, over-performed.

Pardew annoys me, banging on about the takeover, "keeping the integrity of the club" etc. What does he mean? Stick with the rubbish players?

It's all about money nowadays. Football sold it's soul years ago, why pretend we are any different.

Harewood is like Michael Ricketts - a talentless bulldozer who enjoyed a spell where everything seemed to go in... but he's being well and truly found out now.

All of Zomora's goals seem to have been the most lucky, clumsy scrambled effort. Another Championship player.

    C. Cole is good enough for the EPL - he's infinetly more talented than tuhe other 2 - but Ashton is the best Partner for Carlitos.

I feel sorry for Mullins, but the 2 Argies will show their class soon enough.

I said it'll all go wrong with the signings of the two Argentinians. Wstaaam's only chance of avoiding relegation is to send them away now, and then sell them in Jan: The only thing they are doing is upsetting the team spirit, which was the key to the team overperforming last season.

Last season Wstaaam overperformed, as did Wigan, the second season in the premiership often means a season of struggle. I'm not critisizing the club, these are facts of life. And, i believe it was a mistake to sign the Argentinians, as it would have been for Wigan, Charlton or indeed any of that "size" of club.
If you honestly believe that they didn't overperform last season maybe it's you that hasn't got a clue about Wstaaam.
Btw, I support Benfica, I just happen to like Millwall.

    Harewood is woeful ok

I agree really, your signing of Cole seemed bizarre to say the least.

Reo Coker has been poor this season and Etherington hasn't got into the rythem yet.

perhaps the fact that etherington has been injured and isnt fit to play a full game yet might answer your question...Harewood gets slagged off...then what about Defoe??? At least Harewood only cost 500K and has served us well

    Whens Ashton back?

Because like someone said before, Tevez and Ashton shud be first choice.

And Yossi is a quality quality player who should start more often. Anton is going to be missed as well, as him and Gabidon have formed a great partnership.

Pardew seems to have lost his way with the two new signings and needs to find the right balance. He admitted as much on Goals on Sunday last week.

One thing that was a bit worrying was that he also said that his current players feel that they don't belong or are good enough because of the new arrivals. And he said he's challenged them to fight for their places.
