You need to see Lehman's save today against Andy Reid, almost as good as the one against Solskjaer.

    Mad fucker, quality keeper.

I saw it - but Reina is also a good shot stopper - both make really rash decisons now and then.

What I will say though is that he has vastly improved under Wenger and tht the whole 'Wenger knows shit about keepers' thing is rubbish.

But he still has the odd moment of madness and isn't the best at coming for crosses.

Shot stopping and every other area (except kicking) ok

Well according to most on here Carragher is shit - certainly not the potential of Steven Taylor Rolling Eyes

and Hyypia is over the hill.

How many times has Given won the golden gloves I wonder?

Kimbo compared him to Benitez before...

"even Benitez was shit at his first few clubs then became great. Who's to say Roeder can't do the same" - something like that...

Van Der Sar isn't perfect. Him and Rio have big rows about his indecisiveness at times.

Also flapped at a couple of shots as well before.

Just has amazing awareness of situations.

Cech's the Big boss man though.

Fair enough. Everyone on here can choose given. Just like they choose Shola over Crouch Ale

I know who I'd rather. The goalkeeper that's got over 30 clean sheets for us in just over 12 months.

The Shola thing was a joke though - at least on my part:scratch:

I thought only Kimbo and TS were serious on it - hardly the whole board.

Crouch is way better than Shola but I was using Shola as an example of how stats can deceive

Was I the only one who noticed that the Bolton free kick took a deflection? The goal wasn't Reina's fault, he was just unlucky. The ball was curving to the left so Reina dived that way but it hit a Liverpool player's foot and it deflected to the right.

I think there was a deflection but it was slight, deflecting the ball a good 5 inches max, the ball went in the right and Reina dived to his left - why I don't know. I don't think he saw the ball at all.

It was also bad closing down by Liverpool , and a positional mistake by Reina.

    Make Reina stand behind of
Carr Bramble Moore Ramage(A right footed Cb playing LB)
and you can see what protection Given gets.

    Given V Reina?!

Is there even an argument here? scratch MAYBE in a few years Reina will reach Givens level(he's still only young), but at the moment he's not even close IMO. <Ale>

Given deserves a sainthood for what he has to put
up with in front of him at Newcastle. I rate Reina but I don't know what's been the matter with him this season - he is looking like he did at Villarreal where he'd had a bad tendency to flap around.

No, we're probably going to lose. Maybe if it was at St James we would have a good chance but we're not going to win at Old Trafford with Carr and Ramage on the pitch.
