so overall in what? 2 or 3 seasons he's managed 12 starts for Chelsea?

i still dont know why Jose bought him, he's got bags of talent but he doesnt play enough, and at chelsea ok he cant get in ahead of players like j cole etc

so why did no one come in for him? surely a cheeky 7 million bid would be enough to ensure his services?

Did you see him yesterday? Did you see him miss an open goal?

ok he may not be brilliant for you when he does play, but is it any wonder? havning to sit on the bench every game, if he moved to a different club he could become an excellent player, because he does possess the talent

He has talent in abundance. He has performed once for Chelsea. Against Everton in the FA cup. Other than that he has been poor, not what we would have expected dishing that amount of money on him. Kalou so far has already been better

i wish we had got him rather than pennant..

Pennat at crossing>Wright Phillips at crossing. Pennant will be a very good player for you, if you dont play him at the same time as Gerrard. If you have Pennnant and Gonzalez out wide, and Xabi and Momo in the middle, with either of Crouch or Kuyt up front, then you can guarentee one goal from a cross at least. Problem is, whenever you play Pennant, Gerrard plays, and he tries to do everything, and actually gets in Pennants way.

I was saying on 606 that he has made the worst decision of his life joining Chelsea - quite frankly he deserves everything he gets because anyone with half a brain cell could have seen that it was a bad move from a mile off.

Should never have left Man City where he was a hero

He should have moved to Arsenal rather then Chelsea.

Anyway SWP is an awful awful player. Maybe he was better at Man City when his team was less likely to playing against someone defending deep. Then he could use his pace more. When we are playing someone who defends deep his chronic lack of footballing ability is obvious. He can hardly keep control of the ball.

At a club like Chelsea he has to force his way into the team. He has never remotely done this, 'cept for 1 game. We cant afford to play him because he would lose us points, compared to playing with a winger who can cross, dribble and score.

I dont really care how many games he doesnt play (and actually I think he does get enough chances to impress) he should still score open goals.

(oh also I dont remotely believe that Arsenal/Liverpool were on the verge of getting him when we signed him)

Everton in the league. 1-1. He gave away a penalty, and tried to do everything on his own. I think that it was his first start for us and tried to win it all on his own.

Well play Park on the right and Giggs on the left.

We need a winger , doesnt matter right or left(Park/Ronnie) can play on any side as Giggs is a bit old to run down the flanks match after match.

Richardson is so bad he doesnt even count as a winger now

he's a versatile player , not enough quality for United , would do well for a smaller club like he did with West Brom.

Fair enough. Pisses me off no end how hes in the ENgland squad though.

I prefer Barry to be in the England squad ahead of Richardson(if we are looking for a left footed player).
