Just Eto'o, Zambrotta, Messi and Ronaldinho would cost you £90m - so i dont think there is much chance of that. Although the team i have at the moment has 1 Barca player in it.

Are we gonna have point deducted if a player we picked doesnt play ?
Should there be a limit of players from the same team you can pick ?

yeah i think 2 or 3 players from one team max.

Obviously some players value should go up from last year. A perfect example is Messi. I can't remember what his starting value last year was but it was under 10 I think. Clearly, he should be rated higher this year.

you should have a player per line(for example one player for the defensive line and one for the midfield line and one for attaking line).

I think the budget constraints will prevent you from having too many players from a top team, and that is what we really want to avoid. It's impossible to have more than a couple players from Real Madrid or Barcelona. If someone wants to pick all of the Nastic players, they can be my guest. Plus it is very risky to pick lots of players from the same team because if they have a bad game you will get very few fantasy points.

No Jaime has already said that there is no limit on the number of players you can pick from a team. Ive never heard of having a point decucted if they dont play, i think we are playing Marca rules.

Yeah i agree with that, i meant from some of your earlier posts when you said about 100m being the bedget, Morientes, Zambrotta etc were priced lower than they are now priced. But i think the current price list is good.

What formations can you pick and do you know how points will be scored ?

Cole is now back fit and if he stays fit i think he will get more goals, but its a question of if he can stay fit.

I havnt seen any of jaime's rules but i thought we were taking the points scoring from Marca?

Do it like the prem fantasy for this rule.
2 points if he plays more than 60 minutes, 1 point otherwise
0 if he doesnt play at all

or more than 30 minutes is worth 2 less 1 etc

Here are the rules. They are based on the rules employed by Marca's
Liga Fantastica with some minor adjustments:

Each fantasy team will have a budget of 125 m. euros which is
used to select 11 players. Your team's total value can not exceed
125 m. euros. Player prices will be fixed for the duration of
the season.

The following are legal formations:

1-5-3-2: 1 portero / 5 defensas / 3 medios / 2 delanteros
1-4-4-2: 1 portero / 4 defensas / 4 medios / 2 delanteros
1-4-3-3: 1 portero / 4 defensas / 3 medios / 3 delanteros
1-3-4-3: 1 portero / 3 defensas / 4 medios / 3 delanteros
1-3-5-2: 1 portero / 3 defensas / 5 medios / 2 delanteros
1-4-5-1: 1 portero / 4 defensas / 5 medios / 1 delanteros
1-5-4-1: 1 portero / 5 defensas / 4 medios / 1 delanteros

You can make 2 and only 2 substitions per gameweek. These substitutions
will not deduct points from your team. You are not obligated to use all
2 substitutions but you cannot make more than 2 substitutions.

There will be no non-EU player restrictions.

Points will be awarded in the following fashion:

Participation:

Any player who plays at least 60 minutes in the match will receive 2 points
Any player who plays fewer than 60 minutes in the match will receive 1 point
Any player who does not play will receive 0 points

Wins/Losses:

All players having played for a team that wins will receive 2 points
All players having played for a team that draws will receive 1 point
All players having played for a team that loses will receive 0 points

****NOTE**** These points are awarded strictly on participation and are not dependent on number of minutes played.

Goals scored:

Delanteros (Forwards): 4
Medios (Midfielders): 5
Defensas/Porteros (Defenders/Goalkeepers): 6
own goal scored by any player: -1

Goals conceded:

For goalkeepers:
0 goals conceded = 4 points
1 goal conceded = 0 points
2 goals conceded = -2 points
3 goals conceded = -3 points
4 goals conceded = -4 points
5 goals conceded = -5 points

For defenders:
0 goals conceded = 4 points

Yellow/Red cards:
Any player receiving a yellow card will receive -1 point
Any player receiving a red card will receive -3 points

Penalty kicks:
Any player scoring from a penalty kick will receive 2 points
Any player missing from a penalty kick will receive -2 points
Any goalkeeper saving (including misses) a penalty kick will receive 2 points

****NOTE****
The Marca Fantasy Game does not award points for assists, nor will I. It can be difficult to make judgements on assists and I don't want to get into any arguments over it. Goal rulings will decided based on the official match reports posted with the LFP.

IMO thats not good because player will pick footballers who are doing well.
