Guddy has filled Rijkaard in on all of Chelsea's secrets - the strengths and weaknesses of his former teammates, Mourinho's tactical preparation, and also specific training methods that Mourinho used before last years' games against us (no doubt some of those special sessions involved Karate practice for Del Horno Whistle ).

Guddy can fill Barca in all he likes. I think the Reading game has only made the team more unified. Massively underrated performance, given Reading's home record and the incidents of the match.

I still think Carlo will make the game. We now know Cech won't be playing until christmas at the EARLIEST Neutral

Valdes is shit scared at the prospect of meeting the Drog again I have no doubt. Let's hope he doesn't bring his slippery shoes Whistle

Yeah just saw the highlights, Sevilla's goal was exactly what I fear most - headers in the penalty box.

Yes, we probably will be in orange! Only the 2nd or 3rd time we've worn it so far this season though...our kit designers are Nike and they're quite decent, although we're currently in the process of talking to Puma/exploiting Nike. We might change or not, just depends on who offers more Razz

He will be playing behind a much BETTER defence though.

Anyway Cudicini completed a full day of training today, so it is now likely that he will play.

Then you might see Terry in goal.

How much do u ask for Terry as a goalkeeper? Shocked
We need to reinforce this position during the winter transfer window.

Yup. I dont get many chances to see the European greats to often, and u can imagine how i feel when i know Barca is coming. I just hope ill get better tickets this time. For Chelsea game i had a ticket behind the goal, but it was still a good view, since the stadium is not one of the biggest.
Let me remind u, im still living in a different country from the one where the games are played. Very Happy

Cudicini said today he won't play in Wednesday's game, so we'll probably see Hilario. Essien as DM is interesting, I'm definitely less worried with him in there as opposed to Makelele.

Offers more going forward and can be just as brilliant at stopping attacks.

The referee is Belgian Franck de Bleeckere, who officiated the Croatia-Japan clash at this summer’s World Cup, as well as the controversial November 2005 qualifier between Turkey and Switzerland, which saw the Swiss go through amid chaotic scenes in Istanbul. He also reffed Man Utd’s 1-0 away win against Benfica last month.

Got my day planned out for tomorrow (don't usually do this sort of thing, but it's very simple).

08:30-16:00: I will unfortunately be stuck at work with a group of middle-aged, unattractive, boring people. At least 1 of my mates is coming to SB with me so I'll have something to talk about.

16:00-18:00: Get the beers in en route from work to my flat, and will probably be on this forum, waiting for the hours to pass.

18:00-19:30: Catch the tube down to Fulham Broadway and stop off at the pub, which will hopefully be jam packed with CFC fans.

19:30-21:30: Watch the blues pick up a routine 3 points.

21:30-onwards: Go home a happy man Wink

    BLUES 2-1 BARCA

    Drogba (if he's fit) - 1st half 1-0
    Terry - 2nd half 2-0

    Ronaldinho - 2nd half 2-1
