Liverpool V Man Utd Banter Thread
Do you know if Solano will start against Bolton? Newcastle's game kicks off at the same time as Celta-Valencia. If Solano plays, then I watch Newcastle. You NEED Solano to play soon because Newcastle look like shite without him.

Newcastle United and Bolton Wanderers meet at St James' Park in the Super Sunday clash, live on Sky Sports 1.
Click here to vote on the outcome of the game
The Trotters are coming off an excellent September in which they picked up 10 points out of a possible 12 and went the entire month without conceding a goal.
However, they travel to the North East with the recent record against them, having lost six out of the last seven at St James' Park and the home side winning all of the last five involving the two sides.
Newcastle's form of late, though, has been questionable, with the disappointing showing at Old Trafford last time out following on from just one win in the previous five games.
Their only victory in The Premiership since August came against an out-of-sorts West Ham side at Upton Park.
Manager Glenn Roeder will be keen to turn around The Magpies' fortunes against Bolton on Sunday, but faces a difficult test against Sam Allardyce's side, whose only loss this season came at Charlton at the end of August.
Bolton's most recent results have seen resilient defensive performances from Allardyce's troops and few would bet against a similar approach on Sunday.
The back four is once again set to be unchanged as The Trotters go in search of their fifth consecutive clean sheet in The Premiership, although Quinton Fortune will be pushing for a return at left back after returning from a groin problem.
Nicolas Anelka, buoyed by his goal for France in midweek, will continue to lead the line if fit, with the record signing and Abdoulaye Faye both doubtful for the match because of thigh injuries.
Allardyce has no new injury concerns after his international stars returned without any knocks.
Newcastle duo Nolberto Solano and Stephen Carr should return to the starting line-up after recovering from injuries, meaning the Irish full back will have the chance to continue his run of playing every Premiership minute so far this season.
Defender Titus Bramble is back after suspension and Giuseppe Rossi is available after sitting out the Manchester United game.
Kieron Dyer and Olivier Bernard are both short of match fitness and Shay Given is still a couple of weeks off returning.
Skysports.com Prediction: 1-1
Bolton to claim a battling draw at St James' Park.
Player to watch: Nolberto Solano

Seems like he will play, not certain yet though.

What if the Mancs lose? If the Mancs lose then it's bye bye for them for many reasons. The psychological bang may be too much for the Mancs to take. Losing at home to Arsenal and Liverpool...EPL title OVER perhaps.

Re: Liverpool V Man Utd Banter Thread
I think he meant if Liverpool lost.
Liverpool just don't seem to have clicked yet - they have a ood squad but IMO the first team isn't as good as the other top 3, their squad is the second best though - a lot of depth everywhere

I know this sounds crazy, but Liverpool are sitting alright in the standings. Manchester United's loss at home to Arsenal was huge. If you lose against Liverpool on Sunday, then I will write you off already.

If Liverpool lose, it's a big deal of course. A draw is great for Liverpool. Manchester United MUST win that match. I know it sounds nuts, but Liverpool are somewhat comfortable. Liverpool will be alright.
Arsenal have impressed me dealing with injuries and all. Gallas is awesome. It's a shame Chelsea were paying him less money than Terry.

Yep Puro, I'm very pleased with the additions we've made. Baptista got injured during the week though and I think hes out for a further two weeks.
Gallas has been class though, as had Rosicky - at last we have a player that isn't scared on shooting from long range, and Walcott also looks very impressive

Bollocks, Rossi on the bench again.
& Roeder wants to have him for the second half of the season as well.

Nobody will admit hiring him was a mistake, mainly because they were all calling for him to be hired. With Souness nobody wanted him in the first place so most didn't mind slagging him off.
Ofcourse i knew we should've gone for Le Guen or O'Neill when they were available but... whatever, atleast i can say i was right all along.
Maybe Belgravia will bring a new manager with them.

Re: Liverpool V Man Utd Banter Thread
You think Rossi will get any game time?
Im starting to wish we sent him to somewhere like Charlton. He's basically only there for when Martins isn't available or needs a rest.
