The precedent's been set though, hasn't it, with keeper moves outside the window in 'exceptional circumstances'? Didnt the FA sanction Everton cheating in this way a couple of years back?

Id be surprised if Bolton send them Walker. Say if Jussi got injured, they'd be stuck with 70 year old Poole again.

It's clearly a freak occurrence, and I hope they both recover fully and quickly 
But it does make me smile when Jose says 'I like to play with a small squad', and then moans like craxy when he gets a couple of injuries in key positions - it was the same a couple of years ago with all the wingers out at the same time.

Isn't Cudicini back in ten days anyway and they have Hilario for back up. Even if they loaned someone they wouldn't be able to play them against Barcelona, as they wouldn't have been registered in time.

iknow that Villareal had a six week period (not 100% sure how long it was) to find some to replace the injured pires and it was outside the transfer window.

Appreciate it from Bolton but there's no point. We have 2 fit keepers now, and Cudicini will be out MAXIMUM for 7 days. The only game where we might struggle for a keeper is Barcelona but I have full confidence that Hilario will do his best

I think its a good gesture, nothing synical.

I think it's because we have three decent keepers and Allardyce wants Al-Habsi to have some experience.
