    @effenberg

    "Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt" Biggrin

you are quite right, this game was not the clincher since Bremen will win the TITLE by more than 3 points Whistle

as always in sport, the most important aspect is the psychological dimension

Bremen are beginning to gel and are gaining momentum. players like Frings and even the management are positively beginning to EMBRACE being FAVOURITES; what we now need is that Bavarian arrogance that has propelled your boys to greatness so often; don't worry, it will come

you cannot overstate the importance of this, even if Blutgraetsche will continue to be terrified of Bayern, the players are NOT Wink

meanwhile, Ulli's boys are not only in disarray, but under the stewardship of Magath have no idea how to get out of it

even worse, they seem to get into a downward-spiral

Bremen habn einen Lauf und die Bayern krign ne Krise lol!

remember HSV ??? excellent last season, dreadful this year: EVERYTHING seems to go against them (red cards, injuries, lack of self-confidence...)

Bayern have to stem the tide NOW, otherwise they'll be 9 points down within three to four weeks

but as I said: the good news is that the MORON is on his way out <Ale>

    one more point, effe

Bayern now have 13 points out of their last 8 games

their worst record for 13 years

if you don't hear anything from Dummennigge and Ulli, it's nothing but the proverbial "Ruhe vor dem Sturm"

Bayern might have to bite the bullet and employ Daum

now that would be funny Laughing

Lets hope Bremen wins the league! I guess every non-Bayern fan is hoping for that...!

    Downward spiral?

9 points after three CL matches (2 of which AWAY against the two strongest teams in the group) and a mere 3 points behind Werder in the league.

    Please, Otto.

You're talking as if Werder have already won two straight titles. When in fact they're 26 matches of this one single title. And no double in sight either.

Wow, to think everybody says Bayern fans are deluded.

    Daum: Never.

Magath: Gone hopefully after this season. Can't see anything happening before.

I was never terrified of Bayern otto, like I've said repeatedly. We have beaten them often, in important matches, and especially at home. Bayern does not win often in the Weserstadion, they never have, even back in the days when Werder had a different status.

But, and this is simply the truth, Bayern are still ahead of us, they are the benchmark. We may have established ourselves as the number 2 club in Germany, and have an excellent chance to win the championship this year, and I do think that we will, as I've said months ago already, but we need to be successful for years to come, especially in Europe, if we want to gain their status, and especially compete financially.

We have the best board / management of the league, they are the key to our success. I'm sure that we will establish ourselves as a true European top club sooner or later, but we are not there yet.
