Yeah, it was amazing.... but till the point Inter had 11 men, Milan were having a tough time getting back as Inter were scoring more on counters... after it become 4-1 and the send off, the game turned as expected... had Matrix not been sent off, Inter would have suffered less, and probably scored a goal or two more (Mancio was about to throw in another striker!).... great game.

IMO, Kaka was the best Milan player, and Zanetti was Inter's best man.

Stankovic was awarded MOTM tho, for that wonderful goal and 2 assists...

congratulations to Internazionale .. but Milan should be proud, 3:0 down most teams would fold and collapse .. but to finish 4:3 seems respectable

Zlatan, Stankovic, Gilardino and Kaka ... goals of the game..

.. Seedorf i thought played well for Milan and Zanetti for Internazionale.

Dude, 14 points is a lot, and when you are chasing such a gap and not closing in, it can impact the psyche... I never doubted Milan's scudetto contention with a 8 point penalty (coz if a team is playing well, that is nothing), but now that the gap has widened to 14, I have my doubts... still think you guys will make the CL qualification mark tho...

Agree with you re Seedorf... he was exactly like this at Inter, way too inconsistant.... and over the years at Milan, I have seen nothing to change my opinion about him...

but Kaka, he is something else. I think Milan's biggest prob right now is the form of Pirlo, he has been pretty bad by his standards...

Forza Italia!Forza Milan! wrote:I think the season is far from over. The comforting thing is that Inter is at the top of the table and not Juventus. If there is one team who can blow this it's Inter.

As for our performance...our defence was a shambles and how Seedorf is a professional footballer is beyond me sometimes. Notwithstanding his goal, his final product today was simply atrocious.

I am fairly confident Milan will win the Scudetto. I am even more confident Inter will not win it.

Juve were leading us at some point last season by the same margin. We closed the gap to 3 points. Knowing Inter, I think they will collapse.

It would be an embarrassment if Inter didn't win it this year, given the head start they were given. I can see them blowing it though. It's a team without soul (Zanetti excluded), 50 new players every season.

Juve corrupted the refreeing system in Italy, and Inter has no soul??? Yeah, right!

Its not an embarassment if you don't win the scudetto, as long as you ve been there or thereabouts till the end. Its an extremely tough competition, with or without Juve.

Lets wait and see... so far, Inter look pretty good.

Juve lost it's soul, but it is reborn.

Know your role, you are just keeping the top of serie A warm until we return to claim what is ours.

Laugh ah man. Inter have now played away to most of the top teams aswell.
best squad best first 11 and 14 points clear of the only team who could realisticly challenge.
Milan to go on a winning streak seems unlikely right now, you can cover cracks but not that many, keeper dodgy, defence a bit of a mess, missing sheva upfront.
palermo wont last, europe and seria a to much for them. roma again just not good enough for a real title challenge. The title cannot be over already, but if inter dont win this i shall be super super shocked.

He could have gotten *two* yellows at the same time for his celebration : pulling it over his head (everyone knows that's banned) and he also had a message on the "undershirt" which is also forbidden.

Not doubting the ref, he did whatever the rule book said. Infact I thought that the ref had an exceptionally good game, hardly any mistakes, which is remarkable when you consider the war that usually goes on in the derby...

What can I say, The Matrix will always be the matrix.

It is a stupid rule but he is more than stupid for knowing that he is going to be sent off for doing it. He's lucky that milan didn't score a couple more when Inter were down to 10 with vieria limping around.
