ITV only showed 2 Barcelona goals in the highlights package too, what was the real score then Puro?

COTR, anyone who watches La Liga know how Barça play. Barça players were reacting to the London cheats usual dirty tactics. How do you defend yourself when you know Chelsea players will be all about no football, and just about fouling?

It's one of the reasons why Chelsea sometimes don't finish with 11 players, but it's the only way they know how to slow down Barça. So they take their chances with them fouls and dirty play. Mourinho does a great job in conditioning the refs with his comments prior to their matches "we just hope we can finish the game with 11 players". <Ale>
puro that's an incredibly one sided view and you know it...

admitedly drogba did kick it all off today.. The man clearly has less brainpower than rooney but the actions of ronaldinho and deco are indefensible. chelsea simply pressed barca... there was very little fouling yet time and time again the barca players fall and the ref gives a free kick... how do you explain essien cleanly winning a header but because the barca player falls the ref gives a free kick and suddenly ronaldinho and his bunch of merry cheats come along and tell the ref the player has been elbowed and wave cards in the refs face... You call this clean and fair play.

the match got ugly today but for every dirty challenge from carvalho there was one equally bad one from motta or marquez.

chelsea played some very good football today... they are a far better team than the past two years... it won't hurt just to admit it Wink

Like I told Rosy earlier, I thought the 2-2 draw was probably a just result. <Ale>

Yo LRD, you need to watch the whole game. Over here they also showed the Chelsea highlights (surprise surprise!). Biggrin

They left out Ronaldinho's 10 yard miss that would've killed the game in first 8 minutes. They also didn't show Xavi's miss. That's why we love FOX SOCCER CHANNEL making sure they show all of Chelsea's chances and even half chances while leaving Barça's sure goals out. Biggrin <Ale>

I watched the whole game and the facts are that Chelsea had more chances than Barca. Sorry about that, look it up if you don't believe me. Ballack had two great chances as good as Ronnie's one and so did Robben

Nighty night Puro I don't know why you have this thing about Chelsea. I guess some people don't like change and are happy that the same old teams are successful time and time again and hate new kids on the block. Of course Chelsea is another English club so I guess that puts them in your black book (you must be screwed on your betting this year with English clubs only losing one match between them).

then why are you saying barca (and incredibly bremen) are better and chelsea are about no football... if they are about no football then surely you must think they didnt create or deserve anything from tonight's game.. for the first 20 minutes or so of the second half barca barely got near the ball...

admit it puro.. it's a windup thread taken a little bit too far Wink

Barça attempted to play football, and Chelsea...well it's Chelsea we're talking about. As usual the London cheats doing everything they can to dirty the game, to stop the flow of the game.

I was expecting a draw for Barça had no legitimate striker in the game. Barça let Chelsea steal a point from them. Mourinho's celebration for the tying goal was hilarious. He celebrated as if they had won the CL already. lol!

Bremen should take care of Chelsea with ease, but many people will think Chelsea will be throwing the game. Bullshit! Bremen firing on all cylinders should completely annihilate this poor Chelsea team. Bremen will be playing with forwards won't they! Biggrin

Kudos to Chelsea though. They did what they had to do to steal one point from Barça today. It will come down to the two best teams from this group Barça and Bremen, and it's a shame one of them will be KO. Mourinho's celebrations may haunt him in KO stages for he and his Chelsea team may see Barça yet again. Biggrin <Ale>

    great post..i think.......its a joke right..?
