Are u watching the match?
chelsea were generally quite average in the first half but he was their best midfielder; won some balls, rarely lost possession and made some usefull forward passes that nearly came off
Now ballack also looks injured....

Yet another Werder Wunder. Nice job Bremer but what a nail-biting event at the end.
Ballack has played horrible, so did Klose. Very good game by birthday boy Frings and Diego though.

Re: Bremen vs Chelsea
Frings falling over and the ref giving a free kick, followed by Mourinho gesturing on the sidelines was straight out of a Charlie Chaplin movie
Well done Bremen, makes the group very interesting.
Dare I say it, but Chelsea missed Lampard??! Mourinho thought so afterwards.
Some good football by both sides. Little Joe Cole's turning of Per was class, shame about the finish.

I guess Bremen are now firmly part of the establishment
it's hardly a "Wunder" when Europe's finest beat England's second best
IF Barca beat Werder in the Nou Camp, they should call it "Das Wunder von Barcelona"
the GAME OF THE CENTURY now awaits like I predicted a few weeks ago already
Frings, Diego and Merte were WOLRD CLASS
anybody out there who still doubts the sheer class of Frings needs to be committed to a mental asylum
ah, and the old chestnut:
Mertesacker or Terry ???
is answered once and for all as well

I feel like it's justice. The English Pundits spent so much time scrutinising Mertesacker at the World Cup, making a clown out of him - that they glossed over that the golden boy JT was equally as $hit - if not worse.otto: Albion's No 1 fan wrote:

Re: Bremen vs Chelsea
Am I going mad? - tell me I'm not the only one who thought Chelsea weren't trying.
It just didn't look right - passing the ball round the back 4 when they should have been going for an equaliser SWP was high up the pitch on teh right and then played it back to a center back.
Mourinho's "fury" over a couple of decisions looked completely put on as well.
I'll get caned for it but that's what it looks like to me.
* and I don't mean not trying because its Man U on Sunday either.

Re: Bremen vs Chelsea
@ pierre.. truth is even if chelsea 'were trying' subconsciously they will only have been playing at about 60 percent.. it's just natural when nothing is on the line...
provides great entertainment watching otto try to play up the importance of it though when we all know differently
