3 goals in two games, not bad for a defender. He's on a roll

I watched that goal during highlights segment, and I almost wet myself. GOLAZO! To contain my excitement a little bit, I just went ahead and said "fuck it" and put Taylor in my fantasy team. Anyone who scores goals like that earns a place in my teams! Biggrin <Ale>

If that's as straight as it looks it's one of the greatest strikes ever. There's always a few from that range each year, but never from straight position and very rarely from a position where he could of crossed instead.

Amazing goal. Best I've seen a long time, how he keeps it down is beyond me. Great technique.

Is Harry Redknapp the best manager in the Prem?

I read an article somewhere how everyone raves about O' Neill's achievements at leicester, Celtic and now Villa, but what Harry did for West Ham and now Portsmouth (forget about Southampton, he was never at the right club with them) impresses me just as much.

Portsmouth were going to get relegated last season before he turned up, and now they are pushing for Europe,

but most importantly, playing some excellent attractive football, the Harry Redknapp way.

Not impressed - basically a lucky punt. Howard should have saved it, but failed to backpeddle quickly enough.

In truth, not even close to goal of the season.

And if we're going on the basis of exceptional long-range lobs then surely Alonso's is superior in terms of technique and distance?

It's not lucky if you mean to do it. Erm

No, that went in because the keeper slipped.

Van Persies was technically better, although that one looked more spectacular.

we all have different ideas on what an amazing goal is, for me Taylors yesterday was the best i've seen in some time in the premiership.

Best goal i've seen all season from anywhere is Ronaldinhos for Barca V Villareal

To be fair, Bolton's first goal yesterday against West Ham was a brilliant team goal, but being Bolton, didnt get much credit
