As I correctly predicted, without John Terry, Everton are causing our defence problems every time they go forward. It is shocking to see a central defence that is losing the aerial battle against a strike partnership which includes Andy Johnson.
Hilario = donkey
Boulahrouz = donkey.
My half-time ratings:
Hilario 4 - Caught the ball once, but has been typically poor. Hurry back Cudicini and Cech.
Geremi 5 - Got forward, but looked poor. We need a RB.
Carvalho 5 - I'm being nice here. He looks lost at times.
Boulahrouz 3 - Done nothing except make 2 shocking 'tackles'. Should have conceded 2 penalties.
A Cole 6 - Got forward well. Unlucky with his shot.
Makelele 5 - In JT's absence, he's trying extra hard to protect the back 4. Average.
Essien 6 - Once again, our best player on the park.
Lampard 3 - Is he even on the field?
Ballack 3 - See Lampard.
Robben 4 - Good early on, but I think he didn't touch the ball in the last 30 minutes
Drogba 5 - Average, seen little of the ball.
Must pick it up 2nd half, if we want to have any chance of winning the title.
PS. Get back asap Joe Cole!
