Ribery to Real?
Real are apparently ready to buy Ribery if Beckham leaves.

Re: Ribery to Real?
If Ribery signed for Real then it could also mean less playing time for Reyes or Robinho.

I doubt it, if hes not giving time to Reyes, Robiho hes not going to buy another winger..

Re: Ribery to Real?
I don't think Madrid will go for him. Beckham leaving means that Reyes and Higuain will have a higher chance of playing, which is what the fans and the club want. If anything, I think Beckham leaving will ensure that Madrid will buy Reyes by the end of the season.

What about Baptista? It doesn't seem like Arsenal will buy him. Do you think he will be sold to a different team at the end of the season? (maybe Sevilla)

He's a bit rubbish anyways. Can't see why any manager in their right mind would want him.
Better off going for James Milner at an 8th of the price

I would think that by now Baptista is certain not to come back to Real Madrid next season. If Capello didn't like him 6 months ago then he definitely won't like him now that his level has gone down a lot and new signings have been made.
I don't think Arsenal will buy him either but he should have plenty of suitors. Even a Seria A move would be good for him, where he would get more time on the ball.

Well theres no way wenger will spend £17m on baptista, they'll be getting him back for sure unless we agree a cash + baptista deal for Reyes, or Baptista has a stunnung 2nd half to the season

I wouldn't mind him for €8-10 million. Would add a bit of steel in midfield and attack.

This coming from the team who spends millions on Saviola then send him on loan for years and keep paying him 5m a season, not to mention Maxi

Laporta didn't buy Saviola, and his contract is the main reason why he is being forced out of the club (that is what I think).. But I agree that the Saviola situation is idiotic and that we are awfull when signing in the winter break.. Albertini

Baptista can go to Milan as part of the deal for Kaka
Oh wait...did I say that out loud?

Re: Ribery to Real?
I can't see Baptista staying at Arsenal, except like Tweedle said if he plays really well for the rest of the season. But I can't see that happening since he's been sitting warmly on the bench for a year. Ribery will end going to Arsenal, that I'm pretty sure, while baptista will be going either back to Spain or to Italy.
