they are both shit signings on comparable levels though Morientes was then regarded highly by most,

Veron was then probrably the best or in the top three midfielders/ players in the world

Although he cost £27 million or whatever

It also is based opon the position of the club when signing the player Unite were all conquering Treble winners and certainly in the top three clubs in the world and the richest

Liverpool were not too succesful
