By the way, Wayne Bridge was absolute class on the left-wing today (like I said, poor opposition) but still a fantastic performance. Surely a candidate for the LM position whilst Joe Cole is out.

    PS. 0-2 lol!

Time for Gerrard to produce "another" man of the match, game-changing performance with a 'hit and hope'

well, I'm not sure 0-2 is a fair scoreline. Arsenal got out of their own half 4 or 5 times and scored twice.

Not happy with Dudek, but then we really should have done more in the 40 minutes we were on top. Not great movement, poor finishing.

Bellemy would make little difference, the arsenal midfield are very square and we really should be dominating. Perhaps Gonzalez to stretch the play more.

    Isn't this odd...

A week ago it was Crouch not getting enough starts... now Bellamy's rested and suddenly that's the problem.

Funny that Hansen has finally caught onto the fact that Gerrard and Alonso isn't the greatest defensive partnership aswell Rolling Eyes

Riise has been poor and i put him at fault for the first goal, Gerrard and Finnan are at fault for the second, put a bloody foot in you pair of pansies ! We look poor in defence because a quality in many of the Arsenal's attackers is a poor weakness in our defence, mobility and agility.

Tactically not brilliant, Crouch and Kuijt are far too similar like to drop off and become involved, id prefer either Robbie or Bellamy to have been on the shoulder of one of the Arsenal defenders to stretch them and create more space for Gerrard to bomb into, wingers have been pretty shit, Garcia a few nice touches terrible touch when a great opportunity fell to his feet, Pennant has crawled back into his shell after his bolton form.

Wengers game plan is working, give us no space and stifle the wingers to cut off the balls into the box, use their pace to hit our slower back 4 on the breaks.

No, 0-2 isn't a fair scoreline. Liverpool aren't out of it yet though. Our defence has looked a bit insecure and unsettled and if Liverpool can raise their game they can definitely get back into it. Obviously we will continue to hit them on the counterattack but if Liverpool can raise their intensity they can cause our defence problems and overrun our midfield. They also need to test Almunia more. He isn't the best goalkeeper so they should be getting a lot more shots in. We should be able to hold on and win, but I wouldn't count Liverpool out just yet.

Highly unlikely Tweedle, your wingers are dangerous and Benitez certainly wouldn't ask Garcia to do the tracking back. So i cant see that one happening.

You're right Batman. No good team apart from Benfica has come to Anfield since last October.

Not Arsenal, not United, not PSV, not Spurs not Bolton.

Liverpool did have some chances like riises or alonso shot. So far all the chances have been longer range efforts just that arsenals went in(And liverpool couldnt seem to hit the target)
Can you really see Liverpool playing with three at the back? If they did theyd surely concede more as it both Henry and Van Persie are pretty fast

Against Arsenal on just about every other away day this game is 0-0. Or 1-0 at best. In this match however, Arsenal have discovered the art of scoring from outside the box. How/why that is confuses Arsenal and Liverpool fans a like scratch
