+1 or 0. We play some good matches but the big name signings havent been raising the level of quality in the squad.

you look at our league position, it's pretty much the same as last season, we're on a good run in the league after an awful start, doing well in europe, out the fa cup though, it's very much the same

You realize liverpool got just 1 more point than man utd?

Lost two games, deserved to win both, and in one rested half the team. Needed 1 point from the final 3 games to qualify. Last year in europe won just a single game, this year won the first 3. Not a big improvement you don't think, okie

we have had bad results but last year we already lost. also we have improved our defensive performances alot but not enough.

Carrick proving to be a decent signing.

For me this is a fair assessment after last year. Again we finish top of our Champions League group, despite a bit of drama in the last matchday. Also we are 4th in the League, again like last season. We have dropped some daft points this term but wins against Man Utd, Liverpool and a hard fought draw vs the Champions Chelsea have been very encouraging.

We lost a lot of key players from the past this summer in Pires, Bergkamp, Campbell and Cole so there was always going to be a transition period for the squad. Gallas and Rosicky were brilliant signings by Wenger and they can contribute a lot in the clubs future. Players like Hleb, van Persie, Adebayor, Toure, Fabregas and Djourou all have improved their games since last year.

With all our injured players back in a few weeks I am expecting a strong secondf half of the season by the team so maybe a +2 isn't out of the question.

Agree.. we have only managed maybe 500 mins of good football, the rest has ranging from ok to abysmal (as against Getafe)

sold Ruud, only big signing was Carrick, yet we are top of the league and are top goal scorers in the league too.
