    Striker wants Newcastle United move
Feynoored striker Dirk Kuyt has said he wants a move to Newcastle United instead of a possible move to Liverpool. The Dutch striker is hoping to leave the Dutch club and has been linked with a move to both premiership clubs.

"I know quite a bit about Newcastle, they're one of the best supported teams in the Premier League and a typical English club," Kuyt is quoted as saying.

"I would consider a move to Liverpool - they're likely to progress to the Champions League group stages. I would love to play in that competition but my first choice is Newcastle."

No it's not, maybe if there were about 14-16 teams in league... but unfortunately for you there's 20.

The only one I'd want is Klose, and even then I'd prefer Kuijt for various reasons.

IE Age, flexability and the likelyhood is that despite what the papers say, Klose would probably end up commanding a higher fee.

I think Klose would be more inclined to move on again if he were a success, too. Kuijt would probably stay with us until he was in his early-mid 30s, then go back to Feyenoord.

Kuyt can score 15-20 goals and deliver around 10-15 assists...

    if Liverpool plays more forward....!

Why is everyone obsessed with a 20 goal a season striker? The fact is that we're looking to have 4 strikers, with only God looking remotely like back-up. 12-15 goals (atleast) is well within his range, same with Bellamy.

Yes he will and 10+ assists...

With Bellamy, Gerrard and Kuyt there'll be so much movement and labour in the team you'll drive almost any defence insane...

right well i think he'll be exactly the same as crouch, a decent player, not good enough to cause any real problems to the likes of United, Arsenal, Bolton especially away from home.

and a Kuyt Crouch partnership would never work

Use Kuyt as a right winger or right midfielder it will work like a charm...
