I think that's bad for anyone of the big 4. Whoever loses out that first year may lose out on players and transfer targets and then things could spiral.

The whole argument is that they do not qualify because they do not have the money to compete. If they had a place, then more money and the competition is not dominated by the big 3 leagues. I don't mind 3 places maximum, that is fine. But i think he will go further and it will become two teams, and it will be a mess.

True up to a point, but as I've said before, 2nd is better than 3rd at the moment because you go into the August transfer window guaranteed the CL money. For 2 years now we've been faffing around with transfer targets at the end of August because both us and the players were waiting to see if we were in the CL.
The justification for 4 teams from the top leagues is simple - Liverpool and Arsenal in successive finals shows that the 3/4th place teams from England, Italy and Spain have the quality to compete.

The fact is; The teams from the BIG three have too much revenue from the Champions League .. it should be shared equal amongst the 5 nations I've mentioned and the Scandinavian, Balkan and Eastern Europe nations.
It will be like in the 70's and 80's where teams like Steaua Beaucrest made finals and competed..if their leagues get stronger due to this, their BEST players will stay and make it worthwhile..
