Why you say English teams get more from uefa despite bad results? I don't think this is true. The money in the epl is mainly from t.v deals not uefa.

I can understand Ricardo's frustration, even if he went bananas.

It often feels like UEFA is out to protect the three big leagues, but that is normal since they rake in the most TV profit.

What I'd like to see is the number of games being cut in the Champions League. Too many games.

If the format changes, and they actually put back the "Champions" in the Champions League, then 3 teams from the big 3 may be plausible.

It'd be nice to see Bundesliga clubs, Erdivisie clubs, and others to at least get some significant slice of the pie.

You earn most of your money through TV deals, Russian and Anglo American billionaires and Arabic oil sheiks, CL money is just peanuts for most of your football clubs. So the EPL will remain the richest league by far anyway. On the other side CL money is extremely important for clubs from poorer leagues...

With regard to the Bundesliga I guess nothing will change since we are somewhere in the middle...

This rule change won't affect the leagues with two or three teams alread going to the CL - its merely going to offer some teams that presently have to qualify, an automatic spot - teams like FC Copenhagen and Steaua for instance

The premiership is a tight league..you have the top 4 which is usually settled...with about 6 teams trying to chase that and aiming for UEFA places...
