what do you say about that, Puro? (only text I found was in Portuguese)

I'm glad this is done out in the open for obvious reasons. Every Peruvian will witness who picks who. Some football directors want Pekerman. I personally would like to see Juan Carlos Oblitas as the national coach.

Oblitas was on the brink of returning Perú to where we always were until his progress was abruptly cut short. He didn't get the support of the football directors.

Peruvian football will remain as chaotic as it's been for the last twenty years until Nicolas Delfino and Manuel Burga are expelled from the Federación Peruana de Fútbol (FPF).

We have the players, but we don't have competent football directors. We have Farfán (PSV), Pizarro (Bayern/Juventus), Solano (Newcastle), Guerrero (Hamburg), Vargas (Catania), Rodríguez (Braga), Hidalgo (Internacional), Palacios (Al-Nasr), Jimenez (San Lorenzo), Vilchez (Cruz Azul), Cominges (Sporting Cristal) etc. We have a great core of players to form a very good team, but I doubt we'll accomplish anything with the current football directors just like it's been for 20 plus years. <Ale>

The new coach of Perú can only win. He has a quite talented squad but the squad hasn't shown it for years!!!!

    But then...

How is the Football infrastructure around the national team in Perú? Can the coach work without any organisational problems...?

it seems Peru federation is trying to get Abel Braga (Internacional's) to coach them.

that would be great for Peru, me thinks.

I just read that. Braga's obviously a winner. The fuckos at the FPF once again will fail. Copa America is around the corner, and we don't have a coach. The first FIFA international day is this week, but we don't even have coach let alone a scheduled friendly match against ANYONE.

The new coach is not the problem. There's Oblitas, Markarian, Pekerman, Braga, all of them good coaches. The problem is Delfino, Burga and their cronies who've killed Peruvian football since 1983. Every generation of good players is wasted, and will be wasted until these two and their cronies are removed from the FPF.

Delfino and Burga are banking on the new coach to make it to the WC. Nevertheless, where's their work at the youth level? Zilch! We have very incompetent football directors. We are doomed, have been doomed ever since Delfino reached the FPF. <Ale>
