Yeah, Gila was the only one in this game who looked like scoring!

Plus, at this time Milan should have gone for the second striker to go and get that away goal...

milan were better, but I think a draw is a fair result end of the day...

I guess Ancellotti got what he wanted... postponement of the judgement day to San Siro! Thats the advantage of topping your league, you can settle the tie at home...

Thats the advantage Inter do not have... hope we win tom, and win big.

Not a great game, but not a bad result. I'm sure we will dominate them @ the San Siro and win. Ale

We really could of done with Ronaldo.

Strachan feels it was a good result.

I get the impression that his strategy was to play conservatively at home in the hope that Milan wouldn’t score an away goal. Based on that advantage he appears to feel that, although Milan will attack – and probably score – at the San Siro, the probability of Celtic scoring through a Nakamura freekick, a JVoH header or a piece of brilliance by McGeady, is high enough to see his team through either on away goals or an outright win.

It’s a risky endeavour and it’s not the one I would have opted for if it was my decision. I’m not sure why the probability of one of the above occurring increases away from home? Maybe he feels – and looking back to last night he would be correct – that Milan are so experienced that they would have simply absorbed Celtic’s attacks last night if his team was more adventurous, and that by doing so Celtic would have been in a perilous position given the extra space Milan could have exploited in the middle of the pitch. He probably feels that Milan will place more emphasis on attack in the 2nd leg and that Celtic’s best opportunity to score will occur in the spaces produced by Milan’s more adventurous game that weren’t accessible in the 1st leg.

Maybe Strachan will exhibit a tactile cunning that I’ve never seen him depict before…maybe.

Celtic were compressive and played an excellent match.

When we did create chances - and there were not allowed many - we were wasteful - Gila, Ambrosini, Gourcuff and BEAST missing our best opportunities. Boruc did make the great save from Gila. Kaka again was the impressor, always looking for the pass and link, Pirlo's reverse cross for Gourcuff was magnificent.

I just sensed the impression that both sides were content with the draw, and it was the result i expected. Under the circumstances, with Milan's injuries and Celtic's great support and home record, i feel the 0-0 is the result we require. We certainly should be looking to put in the performance at San Siro to see us through, but as always give great respect and preparation to our opponents.

I Hate to say it, but I think our CL campaign will be over in a fortnight Crying or Very sad
However a draw against a very good and experienced Milan team is no bad result.
I just think they will be too strong at the San Siro.
