Sheva has 56, same as Raul. But Sheva has 9 in qualifier's (although most of those qualifiers came for Kiev, whilst Raul has played for Madrid all his playing career).

Sheva was such a joy at Dynamo, used to run at defence from deep and was a fantastic dribbler, can't do it now

It's nothing of being on Par, S4P was making a point that that Sheva has scored in the QR's because he played for Kiev, but forgot that Raul has a few goals in the QF rounds.

Since the first leg of the 2003 UCL QF against United Raul never was the same again. He was World Class, now he is a mediocre player that haven't left Madrid just because he is a homegrown player. His form over the past four seasons has been average.
Shevchenko had been great since his early days at Dinamo until his move to Chelsea. He was the best striker in the world between 2002 and 2006. Sheva is taking a while to settle in a different country. That's normal. I wonder how Raul would do if he moved to a different league.

Since the turn of the year, Sheva has been improving all the time. He still has a long way to go, but like I said, improvements are being made.

Yeah i was, and i agree Raul hasn't been himself for 3 odd season, but he still scores in the big games for us; Valencia, Barac, Bayern, Patletico etc etc. He needs to be more consistent yes, but on his day he is still one of the best finishers in the world with that said he is not a CF like Sheva but a SS or he can play in the hole behind the strikers and he thrives of making late runs into the box or well timed runs behind defences.

Qualifiers dont count, loook how many goals Gerrard scored against cannon fodder. I dont rate Raul anymore, but he always seems to score in the CL. He has played alot of games, but the amount of goals he has scored for a support striker is awesome.
