Rafinha and especially Naldo deserve to get called up.

I may be biased, but Naldo is in truly great form for ages. Sooner or later Dunga has to give him a chance.

    Agreed.

Naldo & Alex are the obvious central defense for Brazil from now on.

Lucio has been improving again in the last few matches, thanks to Hitzfeld I think. He is still a very good player, as he has proven in the CL again, scored 2 goals against Real (both legs). But he made some awful mistakes in the defence this season that cost Bayern dearly.

Lucio needs a partner in the central defence that is not like him, that doesn't start runs and do a Maradona all the time. He and Van Buyten simply don't work as a partnership for Bayern.

Naldo is stronger defensively, honestly. And he is a great threat in the attack as well, especially at set pieces (strong in the air). His free kicks are great also. A very complete defender.

    I don't know. I didn't like the forwards.

my current team would be (4-3-3):

    ___________________J César_____________________

    Dani Alves______Lúcio_______Juan___________Kléber

    __________Lucas________________Mineiro________

    ___________________Kaká_______________________

    __Alex Pato_________________________Ronaldinho__

    _________________Ronaldo______________________

and if Dunga decides to have Rogério Ceni as keeper (and I fear he will, sooner or later), I'll have to support any team in the world against Brazil for the first time in my life.

Juan is doing well for Leverkusen really, another very good and consistent defender. But Naldo is having an even better season.

Just watch any Werder match really. Naldo looked very good in most of them. I don't know how Luisao is doing for Benfica, but Naldo was nominated for the official UEFA team of the CL matchday even.

Those forwards are awful; I don’t want to offend any fan here, but Sobis, Love and Fred are average.

Rogério is important for São Paulo, he's a leader for the team and a great free kick taker and even a playmaker. but, as a proper keeper, he's avarage IMO. and we do not need a free kick taker in Brazil. we have plenty already.

besides, I can't stand him. he and Paulo Nunes are probably the only players I have truly hated.

I think Love is good, but not for Brazil. Fred is better, but also not enough for us. Sobis is overrated. avarage striker. the worst of the 3 IMO.

Pato is out of this world. if he played for a team from Rio or São Paulo, he would be praised to heaven. I think he should be a starter for us right away. doesn't matter if he's a teen yet.

This is exactly what I think, they are good, but not “Seleção material.”

Pato is out of this world. if he played for a team from Rio or São Paulo, he would be praised to heaven.

You know what? Its better this way, I think that the media in Brazil sometimes hurt more than help. Leave the kid in the south, o campeonato gaucho isn’t hyped like the carioca or the paulistão, he will play the Libertadores and will develop a little more.

I have so much joy watching him play, keep on wondering in witch European club he will end up.

Me and my twin brother we are Flamengo, my younger brother is São Paulino.
A lot of young people in Brasil became a São Paulo fan because of those titles in the early 90’s. At least that’s why my brother is São Paulino.

LOL, no even close. Minha familia é nordestina, I lived in Pernambuco and now I am in Paraiba (it sucks, é quente como o inferno) Flamengo is huge here.

When my mom went to England to make her Pos Doutorado, I tried to go with her because I wanted to go to Arsenal Stadium personally and wacth some matches, but the plans didn’t go well and I had to stay here in Brazil. My mom couldn’t believe that I wanted to go to England just to see a stupid football team, LOL, but she doesn’t get football passion. Biggrin

I'm truly surprised about Sobis, he hasn't fired at all in La Liga this season. Betis themselves have been struggling, but even in their recent revival it's been others getting the goals. Guess he's not as good as he was made out to be.

no, not so soon. we got stuck in the mud so badly I think it will take a couple of years to get out of this mess.

we are ruled by gangsters and lunatics. with our enourmous, faithful, fanatic fanbase, if we had managers as good as São Paulo's, we could rule the world.

When Afonso Alves (heerenveen) recovers from his injury, he should get in the Brazil squad. He's miles better than Love or Fred IMO.
Its criminal how unknown this marvel of the world is.

You're set though, great squad anyway you look at it. Outstanding defense, one of the best young keepers in the world (Gomes), terrifying midfield, but so so strikers. Great strentgh in depth though.

    BTW, to Brazucas posters:

If you saw Helton's performance against Chelsea, please be aware that in Portugal we are all shocked with his display as... he was usually the least expected choker.

He chose a bad day to finally have a terrible performance and offer some "frangos". But to be honest they were his first ever in Porto.

Don't think he is that kind of keeper, very elastic and entertainment, that usually gives that kind of presents to the opponents. On the contrary.

That's two Brazilian internationals at Werder, we can compete with the best in that respect. Very Happy
