    I think Chelsea v Valencia is 50-50; particularly if David Navarro is able to punch one or two of the Chelsea players in the face prior to the match.

    Well, if Chelsea play like they did against Porto then the game is not only wide open, but Valencia will be the more likely to go through. I just considered it (this time) as a two game blip. I also factored in the imminent UEFA punishments for Valencia.

    That's also why ManU aren't more favourites - they've been unimpressive the entire CL this year (barring 3 group home legs).

    We will never play that poorly again this season imo (well, it will be pretty hard to even play as poorly as we did).

    I don't even mind winning the first leg 2/3-1, because I think we'll score over there. But we must go into the 2nd leg with the lead.

    Sure, although I'd make that more 45-55.

    Man Utd haven't been anywhere near as prolific in Europe as they are in the Prem. It also depends on which Roma turns up. The Roma that can beat you away from home, or the Roma that lose at home.

    United are favourites, but there's no easy game (certainly no 30-70s)

    ok That was going to be my next post... just how bias the odds are. (Mind you, the majority of the British public who bet will almost certainly put a bet on an English team, so the odds are the way they are to save the bookies shedding out loads of money, should one of the 3 Brits win the CL.

    A lot of the bookies in Spain are international companies - just been to the Bwin site in Spanish and it comes out with the same three as favorites but by not as much of a margin....
